Not to be a dick, but silenced UMP is the definition of try-hard. Not that I completely abstain from using it (especially at the beginning of any prestige), but once you get a little further in the prestige, you really should try some of the other weapons.

I think people got bored with multiplayer after so long since they only used shit like the UMP, SCAR, TAR, etc.

Keep checking Gilt jetsetter as they sometimes have some hotel rooms for under $100/night. What is your budget?

Some of the fast food places you mention are probably not even in the city, food in NYC is amazing, so don't worry about it. Menupages.com is great.

Fuel and Carnival are horseshit camper's paradise maps.

Carnival is alright. Crash is fun. Vacant is alright. Overgrown's spawns are awful. Strike is by far the biggest shithole map ever.

These maps were a waste of money and have just made me appreciate the old maps more.
