  1. damn sizing is spotty on these. picked up a pair of green stfs 29x32 and the length is perfect after a hot soak. then i decided to grab some new knights 29x32 and they barely touch my shoes after a soak. Oh well, gonna wear these badboys til they fall apart anyway

  2. ^ not sure if srs, but yes it will fade like any other denim with wear.

Well that's awesome then. Contrast fades and a great fit for less than 60 bucks, I'm sold. I guess the only reason I asked is because they also sell this pair (http://us.levi.com/product/index.jsp?productId=10948887&&cp=3146842.3146845.3692014.4305602) which are way more expensive so I wasn't sure if people in this thread are buying that version or the cheaper versions and getting good results.

  3. It's time for me to let go of these. Mostly because I'm getting back into weightlifting again and my legs are a little too big for these jawns :(

They've been altered fairly short, but I'm hoping somebody out there likes them the same way I do.

I did an initial hot soak, no washings since.

Also, here's a link to them on selfedge.

    Looking for SOLD!

Also open to trades! Anything that might fit me better (S710 or anything straight leg, not tapered)

    Measurements:

    Waist: ~15.25"

    Inseam: ~31.5"

    Thigh: 11"

    Hem: 7.5"

  4. Are they really that awful? Now I'm all self-conscious. Is it to the point where ya wouldn't even be seen wearing them?

Just asking because it never occurred to me that they were that terrible. I still love 'em but I'm just curious.

I'm going to emopart. Just kidding.

its like a heart on your ass, it's cute.

  5. hmmm...quite a bit to discuss. I don't think it's "hype". I don' t see anything wrong with wanting the best of both worlds. With certain body types, slim cuts just look better. I'm a skinny guy with a thin waist, no ass and stick legs. Even with "classic straight" cuts, I look like a hip hop poseur, like a rap star wannabe from the mid 1990s. Slim cuts just look better on me. But that shouldn't preclude me from getting heavyweight denim. I love the stiffness of it, the way it fades and the character of the texture. Therefore, I like slim heavyweight jeans. I don't think that's "hype".

My thoughts exactly. The point is to wear jeans that fit your body. If that means buying a "slim" or "skinny" cut then so be it. But wearing jeans that fit like sweatpants is silly.

  6. Looking for a pair of cheap (100 or less) black jeans...don't really care if they are heavily worn or like new. I just need some for work.

I'd like a pair of jeans that were raw at one point so I can still see some fading. My job is pretty laborious so denim will fade nicely.

I usually wear 29 or 30s depending on the brand and style.
