yeah i'm not knocking pbjs at all...if they actually fit my body i would have kept mine for sure, but i think part of the reason you see so many great faded pairs is because they are a lighter weight denim compared to IH so there's more examples of them worn to hell. IH is really heavy and built to last a lifetime, but they still fade beautifully from what i've seen.
sorry to derail the thread...carry on!

That's honestly really annoying...and probably bad for his business. I was going to buy a wallet...but now....considering it takes seven weeks....
Well actually this IS my first time buying any custom leather good, so maybe it just takes this long for all of them I guess. Guess Ill find out someday. Probably gonna order a wallet elsewhere
Yeah, 7 weeks is absurd though. Tanner Goods took 2 weeks tops for a bifold wallet.

hey for those of you who have ordered a belt from corter leather before...how long does it take to get it? Also do you get tracking numbers or anything? It's been about 3 weeks, and I sent him emails a week ago asking for tracking number etc and I haven't gotten a response....anyone know whatsup?
I'm in the same boat. Haven't sent him any e-mails though.

damn i was just cruising to the store on my skateboard, tried to pull a fancy maneuver, ate shit and slammed the back of my head on the pavement. Got up and my head was gushing blood and the first thing i thought of was fuck yeah road rash fades on my busters baby

Got these a couple days ago from Self Edge. Soaked them to get most of the shrinkage out and wore them for a day.
I think I could size down one to a 29, so I want to see if anyone would be interested in buying these for a discounted $OLD
There's only one 30 left on self edge.
Measurements:
Waist (aligned): 15.5"
Thigh: 10.9"
Hem: 7.25"
Inseam unaltered
No fading yet, just mild creases you'd expect from a days wear.

i hate ordering three different jawnz and soaking them to find out they don't fit. Then losing money cause i have to sell them for less than i bought them for a day ago.

not trying to make a big deal, but if anybody wants my size 30, i'll let them go for $300...
i definitely think i need to size down one. I'm not used to jeans this loose.

Usually it's safe to base your purchase on the raw measurements. The denim will shrink below those measurements after the initial soak/wash but they will stretch back out (or sometimes past) those initial raw measurements with wear/time.

whats a good place to pick up a nice leather wallet that I can watch change color over time?
Don't have too much money and When I was checking out flathead, IH, and other SE wallets, I cried a little. Anywhere to pick up something like that for cheaper?
I'm no leather expert so take it with a grain of salt, but I really like my Tanner Goods bi-fold, and it only costed me 72 bones. You might check that out...

im not a smoker (except for pot)...only ever took a puff of one a long time ago
But since I've followed a pretty strict "paleo" diet for the past couple years, I was reading about the Kitavans who apparently smoke like chimneys and experience none of the health issues of westerners...
Pretty interesting how a shitty diet may be what's causing smoking related health issues afterall...
Decided to grab a pack of American spirits just now for the hell of it, but damn inhaling this shit is not a very pleasant sensation.
