$120!!!! I wonder how many children work in that sweatshop?
plus the vibram half sole is not stitched on to the boot. meaning they dont have the machinery to properly attached the sole....so its glued more then likely ....................
It doesn't really seem like a shortcoming, more like a top-off. When the step wears down he can just grind the sole a bit and slap another halfsole on rather than redoing the welt. However I'm not so much a fan anymore of that distinct workboot shape that Red Wing has capitalized on, the details are neat though. Good buy.Apparently can't edit.

Which pecards would you use on that 16oz natural? They seem to have a lot of blends...
The classic leather dressing would be the best from Pecard, their leather cream is good too but as far as creams go it's nothing special you may as well use some shoe creme you already have.

not a big one but maybe y'all can relate; was hanging outside a mall enjoying tobacco, nobody else around for a few minutes so i let some gas out. right as the stink begins to emanate these 3 fine, upstanding young women pop out for a smoke. one comes up to me i guess asking for a light and gives me that nasty look like she just smelled it and goes back to her friends says a few words and they all laughed and walk back inside looking back at me.
shame.

This is my room at the parents' house.
This is from my apartment. Coyotes and foxes come by here all the time, owls wake me up like 3AM.

Early 90's style 32 Vans. The soles measure 9" in the footbed but I feel like they might be a US 6 - 8.

anyone here fucks with ecigs? i picked up a 5volt passthrough for vaping ejuice as an alternative to smoking cigarettes and am actually really happy with it.
I got one from a buddy, the vapor makes drags seem like hookah; not sure if i want to make the switch.
in other news I'm taking a break from foreign shag for thicker American cuts, not bad so far.

Can anyone suggest a leather conditioner/feed thats easily available in California, or maybe a product on amazon? Just bought one of scott's natural 16oz veg tanned belt and was wondering what to treat it with before slapping it on a brand new pair of denim. Heard of a couple products out of the country, but don't want to wait a long time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
You can get Brooks and Pecards dressings on Amazon, Pecards you can probably find in cobblers' shops and auto upholstery care sections.
Montana Pitch Blend is great too but I've never seen them stocked physically around LA.

They look really cool but they're a bit pricy, hard to convince myself that I should get those instead of say some Studio D's or LVCs.

1. call up every girl i was too shy/nervous to move up with and tell them what's up
2. empty my accounts(save for funeral expenses), blow it on dope and acid, go to big bear/other high mountain area and watch the sun roll around till i'm done

Not down for it personally dude, but good idea. Be VERY interesting to see the results of the so called 'dirt denim'...
Not like I'm in the position to push elitism but the selvedge denim that I saw at Target was quite passable, much like the WOWSELVEDGEDENIMFORLESS you see from Lucky Brand or Gap. I'm not doubting you can get nice fades out of them, you can get nice fades out of pretty much any denim with time and wear. they're just not interesting enough for me to try but i will keep this thread tabbed.

This thread is only funny if you don't live I'm California, really awful governor.
I remember hearing about him signing some bill that cut water to like 600K+ acres of farmland to prevent an endangered herring that lives in a pond in norcal from going extinct. farmers were pretty pissed about that, made my day

I agree with you here Mild7, I'm really impressed with the fabric and construction of my SD 101s and definitely believe this brand doesn't get the attention it deserves here on Sufu, however, I think the same could also be said for Denime and Fullcount, judging by how many pages are in those threads.
Having said that, I do think Studio D'Artisan (like Sugar Cane) has been subject to changing trends on Sufu. It was more popular a few years back, when some of the Japanese brands were being 'discovered' on this forum (I think the SD 103 was particularly de rigeur around these parts!). There is ever-increasing brand coverage now, which has resulted in more of a backseat for SDA, but that's fine with me. I think they still do ok in Japan too!
Yeah I am surprised how times have changed, I remember when I first started browsing mynudies and here sugar cane was huuuge, along with samurai and the others but samurai is still quite relevant here
