APCs bought in 2005, worn hard for 2 years, then worn off and on for a couple of years, then retired for obvious reasons. i wish I had been better about repairing them before it was too late.

Took a bunch of terrible pictures of some jeans - need to go back and get better ones of certain pairs, but at least these pics of my ooooold APC NS get the point across.

Those are gorgeous! Roy actually sent me a scrap of that cotton duck fabric with the denim scrap he sent me. I have no idea what to do with it, other than keep it around for cool repair potential.

Roy is the coolest. I emailed him discussing repairs and potentially visiting his shop - results:

He said he only does visits when people are going to be buying a pair, and I am not ready for that yet (PLEASE, somebody buy my too-small SEXSC06's [sz29]), but I can't wait til I am.

He just up and sent me some scraps for my repairs! Some nice denim and some brown canvas, selvedges intact on both, of course.

I'm getting my pair of Mellors in the mail tomorrow.

30 inch waist - ordered a size 29.

Will put up fit pics for sure.

I'm the same - wearing 29s, and they are perfect. Waist stretches a bit as usual, but they're great in the thighs and below, so I am sure you will be great.

On another note: it's crotch reinforcement time! No stitching or structural damage, but fabric is wearing quite thin, but that's par for the course for me. I am definitely a destroyer of crotches.

This is quite a question to ask, but Dkatz, how is your crotch holding up?
