It's been raining quite alot here in Singapore as well. It seems that the bugs don't seem to come out after the rain. However i managed a few interesting shots.
Firstly, I managed to put a big tick off my Macro most wanted list. Presenting to you the Ogre Faced spider. It got its name due to its resemblance to mythical creature! This spider actually makes a web to be casted on its prey!
Here is a video of it on action! Not by me.

I also saw 3 different types of Huntsman spider. 2 of them had eggsacs with them!
First huntsman
2nd Huntsman. This babe had slightly dark colours. Might be time for a moult.
Finally a Huntsman with a prey!

I hope you guys enjoyed the pictures! I recently got a new flashlight(previous was pathetic), a Klarus XT-10. Hopefully i am able to spot more bugs!

Anybody currently using the Fenix TK21 or Klarus XT10?
I just bought the the Klarus XT10, the shopkeeper claims that the Fenix tk21 gets overheated easily and more expensive due to its brand. This is my first flashlight.

Recently my friend asked me out to shoot at a new location. As usual we were looking looking for bugs to shoot when suddenly i felt something bite my butt. DAMN ANTS! Haha but nonetheless we found 3 beautiful bugs, a viper!
Upon arrival I spotted this beautiful jumping spider which belongs to the Hyllus family. It was all hairy and had beautiful green eyes. It was very calm too.. Might be due to the rain, bugs seem sluggish.

Here is a very rare Fan Horned Beetle aka Feather Horned. I was lucky to spot this guy.. He too was sluggish and allowed me to shoot it.. after 10 shots, this guy flew away..

In this picture, it is actually fanning itself before flying away.
