  1. Anyone into street photography here? How do you guys usually approach subjects?

I believe that streetphotography is all about technique.. I recently met this guy who took a photo of me without me noticing. He was using a leica m10 with 35mm. Eventually i saw him in action taking street photography of other people and he didn't actually use the viewfinder.. He just snapped without looking. Pretty cool. His work can be found here

  2. what is your motif? i'd say the sunset (even though it's already set) and the mosque. right now, all i see is a bunch of glowing rocks

Yep motif would be the sunrising from the mosque. Yep, i seem to have filled too much light on the rocks.

  3. The other night it was pouring heavily but once the rain slowed down, my friend and i went out to shoot some macro. The last time we went out to shoot after the rain, lots of insects could be spotted so we tried our luck today again and sure got some cool insects.

This is a longhorned beetle. Their horns are longer then their body. They look like a roach if you are mistaken. This guy seems to have gotten a few bullet shots on the head. Might be the work of mites.

One of the biggest weevils i've seen. It was on a dead log. This guy was probably an inch in size.

Fungus weevil. Size is around 3mm. Huge challenge to shoot this guy as it was small and it kept moving around.
