  1. going to be moving to colorado in a year and wanted to get a subaru impreza wagon. i'm down with an '04-07' outback sport, but is it unrealistic to think i might be able to find a wrx that hasn't been beat on and modded? i love the sound of the unequal length headers and more power is always nice. if you don't hammer a wrx is it a reliable car? seems like the only extra thing to worry about over a regular 2.5i outback sport would be the turbo but if i'm not much of a modder or able to work on the car myself, is it more trouble than it's worth? how many miles does the turbo last and how costly a repair is it?

  2. I realized I never posted any pictures of when I got my Semi Dress boots back from resole. They were single leather soled and they finally had worn a small hole in the big toe area; so I sent them back to white's for resole. I was kinda surprised when I got them back - they came back with only one row of stitching. I called white's asking them what was up with that - they just said thats how they do resoles. They just always have 1 row of stitching. I guess its just the process and I guess why you hear that its best to get the double row cause there is more room to work with. Here are the pics. I think these are about 4 years old and are brown chromexcel and were resoled with double leather this tim

and this is me wearing my brown smooth farmer ranchers while taking the pictures. :)farmer%20rancher_zpst77g7v74.jpg

funny how much distressed smooth looks like brown smooth after some obenauf's. wish i could keep my natural midsole that light looking in the front but it gets so dirty at work.

  3. whats the item number of the shirts with the monkey arms? Just so that I don't accidentally buy them

the 101-bb and 131-bb. they're over an inch longer in the sleeve than last year's ultra heavy flannels.

  4. waiting for that gray/black ombre flannel. got the blue and black one and it's my favorite piece of clothing. just hope iron heart don't give it monkey arm sleeves like the new blue and black check flannel.

  5. hope they fit well for you. i'm 4 months in on my bounty hunters and they've been great for working/walking on my feet 8 hours a day. it's amazing how something with no cushioning, but total support, can make your feet feel better than something like a nike running shoe, that's nothing but cushioning.

  6. Buying a new vape this week.  Anyone have a good rundown of advantages between something portable or something more tabletop?  Looking at the Arizer air, solo, and extreme q. Leaning towards and Air/Solo because I need something I can transport/hide relatively easily, but am worried they don't work as well.

@Bruised / @trichrome are you guys stocking these?

edit: friend also offered to sell me his pax.

i've had a solo for a little over a year and it's been amazing. the pax looks more pretty but i think the solo outshines it in every other category. only regret is not getting one sooner. now that the air has been around for a while, you can find it for only a little more than the solo and i'd probably go for that. the main advantage is the removable battery. eventually the solo battery will wear out and will have trouble holding it's charge, but with the air you never have to worry about that.

the solo/air are super easy to use and keep clean and they hit super hard. i've had a lot of people use mine and everyone has been super impressed by it and nobody has been able to take a super deep hit from it without coughing like crazy. hits just as hard as a desktop vape, so i wouldn't even bother with the extreme q. another cool thing is that you can buy adapter pieces that let you connect the solo/air to standard sized water pipes.

  7. i've developed a little bit of squeak in my right boot [white's] when my toes are bending to push off. kinda sounds/feels like some friction between the insole and the midsole maybe, around the big toe area? not major but is pretty noticeable at the beginning of the day, like when i'm walking to my car before work, but does seem to lessen or become less noticeable while at work. this could also be because it's rather noisy and i can't hear it. this something that may go away over time or something i need to deal with until i get a resole and will get worse?

  8. finally got some of the watermelon dorado and sadly i'm not all that impressed. i'm not sure i'd be able to identify the flavor as watermelon if i didn't know already. it tastes sort of strange and artificial and does seem a little overpowering to me but does mask the more stiff taste dorado has compared to sculpin.

  9. resurrecting this thread. got into rock climbing about 6 months ago and was going only 2-3 times a month because i'd get pretty nasty tendonosis flare-ups in my arms after going, but i recently got a membership and some evolv shaman shoes and have been going every 2-3 days now. awesome workout and love the problem solving aspect to it. still haven't done any outdoor climbing, though there are plenty of places around the silicon valley to go. i just like bouldering at the studio in san jose. completing v4s now after plateauing a bit at v2/v3 for a while.

my gym. it's located in an old hollowed-out movie theater downtown. pretty cool.
