  1. horween is a tannery, most different types of leather vis uses are from horween. if you are talking about the bison that has been recently used, the kangaroo hands down shows age better.

    Thanks for the info.

  2. Agreed, it didn't really catch my eye off the rack initially but when I tried it on, I had to pull the trigger. The articulations on the arms provide for a comfortable fit and like i said previously, I can foresee being able to wear this year round compared to some of my heavier jackets.

I bought solely on what I saw in the lookbook and have to say I'm really happy with the jacket ... though initially the collars did appear a little too big.

  3. Hi,

I've got some Brigadiers size 11 US which were slightly tight (on left foot) but now have stretched out well, a pair of 7 holes US size 12 , which are a little big. I'm looking 13 SS Virgils kngr or 12 SS Cantors. What size do you recommend , are the Virgils as big as the 7 holes ? I don't know whether to go 11 and maybe a little stretch or 12.

    Appreciate your comments.

  4. Hi,

How do you taller guys find Visvim fits ? I'm 1.94m with longs arms (67cm) and long legs and a size 42inch chest , 88Kgs and take a size 4 in Visvim tees.  Anyway I'm interested in pieces like the noragi and the 101 and pfd jackets. How are sleeve lengths and fittings?

    Cheers,

    D

  5. Hi,

I have a few jeans like this http://bombsquadsf.com/blog/selvedge with three tags in the inside. One is the usual wash instructions and the other two are silver tags like we see on clothing. On my other jeans the seam is unfinished. All are MIJ. Any idea what these jeans are ?, they don't seem to be selvedge as noted in the link , but also they are better finished than most of my MIJ jeans.

    Thx
