  1. interesting,, i'm just debating atm on which pair to pull the trigger on between the WH800, SDA103 and the FC1108. i'll let you know which pair i choose which should be by tonite - i'm about 6months in on the pbj007 but i'm getting kinda bored of the color

  2. The 800 don't taper enough to be '66s IMO. Slim top block, very straight leg.

The WH 660 is closer to a '66, i'd say, with a lower rise. (measurements between the 660 and Fullcount 1108 are pretty similar according to BiG)

yea, they do seem so. i was gunna order a pair of the 660 but they won't restock till spring so im gunna purchase the 1108's instead - until the restockage

  3. hey 005/007 owners, j/w how much of a taper u got on urs, if u altered them. the leg opening is too big atm for my size...

yea I have the 007 in 32 and the leg opening seems to be a bit big - I only wear em with clarks desserts anyways so its fine for me atm

  4. after hot washing my '66 it seems almost all the starch/stiffness has been soaked out, would this affect the fading process? should i just wear em or should i spray a liquid starch to stiffen them up and help the creases settle in better?

  5. Some people lay them flat, measure across the waist and double the measurement. Others match up the waist band and measure like BiG. There is usually about a one inch difference. Cultizm always measures the first way. It pays to ask how the vendor measures if you don't want to be disappointed. It's frustrating, but just one of the hazards of buying jeans online.

yea, man - i never even though of asking that

edit: they are way to big, fccckkk

  6. cultizm said the '66 09/10 batch measured true to size i asked about the size 33' they said they were 33', after i measured em according to big size measuring they were about a 34, so they could be 1inch oversize

unless you arent supposed to even out the waist band before measuring

  7. the 660 isn't exactly a repro fit after you size down a few, either. Maybe it will be similar.

i figured it was kinda close to the LVC 501 '66 which i have with the slim tapered leg havnet chose between 660/700/800 yet tho still debating

  8. ^Petite Standard looking almost.....The only reason I'm mad about the J.Crew collab (other than that fit) is that J.Crew is wasting Warehouse's time when WH could be focusing more on making my cinch/1004XX with arcs and tab for their 15th Anniversary that I've been begging for forever....;)

true those are some apc mainstream euro fit

  9. just to clarify when sizing down on 660's you size down from true waist not from BIG measurements so if im 32 id just grab a 31 right? and for 700/800 just size according to big measurements

    thanks in advance

  10. if you guys soak your jeans how long do you soak it for? i got my 007's in the tub with hot water for 20 min with some woolite cause they were so dirty from the winter post pics in a bit

  11. I recently purchased a used pair of Levis 1947 501 and I was surprised when they arrived. They obviously seemed to be a worn a bit but there's absolutely no creases in the denim, the denim is just very flat and light in weight throughout. What's up with this?

if you bought them used then they shouldnt be as good as perfect condition

  12. HAZARD - I sized actual size. Usually a 34" bought a 34". They fitted raw, warm soaked them to bring the legs up to be just on the shoe (small cuff for that Mod look). They can't shrink smaller than you if you keep them on whilst they dry!

I've always been nervous of sizing up as I don't wear belts.

ohh they said that a size 34' will measure a 34' so i was assuming they'd shrink to a waist of 32 after hotsoak. I wasnt planning to wear them while they dry or maybe i should, i was planning to get 90-100% of the shrinking done before wearing
