  1. That area is beautiful long. One of my favorite things about Vancouver, the lush scenery. So many different types of trees, there is even a rainforest up north as well.

If you're still in Van can definitely recommend some cool places to check out.

I'm back in Toronto already, but I'll be there for the next two weekends! definitely my favourite city in Canada.

  2. Work brought me to Vancouver this weekend, went for a hike on the Grouse Grind, 2.4km in altitude

The trees are beautiful in Vancouver

  3. My pair has reached a stage for regular washing. Coupled with summer activities and all, it should go into accelerated destruction...

For those who were wondering about the size, I was a 31 in the Eternal 811, 32 in the TCB

  4. On your knees a lot Ah_Long? Looking good. Interesting to read that you'll be washing these more frequently - I had wondered if you'd go a year without washes like you did on the Eternal 811.

Ya, I'm going to hold off washing them for as long as possible and then wash them frequently like aho.

Knees seem to go first on all my jeans for some reason. It'll see a lot of more wear over this summer.

So have we decided if this is a 1 year or 1.5 year contest?

  5. A little teaser from Manchester this past weekend. Do mind the tired facial expression - we were hanging out way too many hours at the Brew Dog bar the night before. Felt pretty crazy paying less for nice beers from Brew Dog and Stone than what a crappy beer costs at an average bar in Sweden. More pics to come from the trip when I have a little more time at hand.

    nice fit!

brew dog is my favourite pub, amazing beer

Their burgers are also to die for (at least at the camden location), and the fries are one of the best I've had (globally)

    a few notes.

    1. no paper for you to mark, the trolley comes out, you need to go to the trolley and see what they have. If you're slow, all the good stuff might be taken. There's no signs on the trolley to tell you what's in it, literally just go up and open the lids of each stack to see what is in it.
    2. better to go for morning dim sum, less people
    3. dim sum goes to the 2nd floor first and then to 3rd, better to get seating @ 2nd floor
    4. You can have your own tea or share a pot (same price), the key to pouring tea is to be fast so you don't spill shit everywhere
    5. all the dim sum are good, but they also have some old style dim sum that you can't find in many places nowadays
    6. all their dim sum is made fresh in HK, not those frozen crap delivered from China as you would find in most chains
