GOD DAMN!!! It's killing me that I can't wear my 007's right now, I so want to get mine to this level. Damn this heavyweight denim contest! I love my S710's, but I miss my PBJ's.

Seems like the only thing I do that's worthy of a WAYJDT post is going to concerts. Tonight, it was Deftones.

There is a rail that goes around the floor section that is about a foot or so wide-- enough to walk on. Chino jumped off the stage and walked straight to where i was standing and performed "7 Words" in my face. Pretty awesome.

Took a drive and a stroll through the neighborhood where I work (Bridgeton, MO near St. Louis' Lambert Field) to witness the destruction of last night's tornado.

710xx macro shot @ just over 2 months. Vertical falling and slubbiness are developing nicely.

Here in the midwest of USA it seems that we've skipped spring and went straight into summer. Bracing myself for my first summer with heavyweight denim... 95 degrees and 80% humidity here I come.

There was talk here (many pages back now) about the 17oz black denim showing up in a 710 cut for BIG. Was this just a hopeful rumor? I never saw any evidence of it.

It wasn't just a rumor, I emailed Gordon and he confirmed that it was happening, but they were supposed to get them in around mid-March I'm not sure what happened, unless it has something to do with the tsunami.

i'm interested in a pair of 710's, the new lot at BIG. trying to figure out the right size to order. i wear:

size 34 in the OG Roys (they measure around 34 at the waist)

size 34 in an old pair of Skull 5010xx 6x6 but they are slightly large in the waist (measure s 35", need to wear a belt)

size 34 in LVC 1947 (though after 4 years of washing, its became a bit snug on me)

size 34 FOB Factory (measures around 34-35" waist, perfect fit)

would i be okay with a size 33 in the 710 or should i go with a 34

I'd recommend size 33.

I wouldn't size up unless you have fairly muscular thighs. I sized down on my lot 13's.

General consensus on the new lot of 710s is to size TTS correct?

The world has gone mad, we're seeing the makings of a blown crotch in a couple of the IH's, as well as some amazing fades . Whereas the Samurais seem to be holding up well from a construction POV, but the fading is proving harder ?!?!

This is the exact opposite of what I expected to happen, what is going on !!!!

Exactly what I was thinking. All these people with massive fades on their Iron Hearts and I'm about due for my 2 month update on my 710's and I'm almost embarrassed to post pics.

Just ordered a 710 size 32 from BiG,...I understand these have XXXXXXXXX. Will post pre and aftersoak measurements when they get here.

I received my pair of lot #14 710's last week from blue in green lol surprised they had the XXXXXXXXX (the pair on their site didn't have em)

Kiya, are there going to be ongoing restocks of the 7301s? Those look like they'll be my first pair of IH's, but money's a bit tight right now.

screw it. like somebody told me earlier this week, there would be no superfuture without impulse decisions.

The waist will stretch past the raw measurement. Not so sure about the thighs, though. They will shrink about .5" from the raw measurement in the thighs and probably won't stretch much, so I guess it depends on how tight you like your jeans in the thigh area.

I'll accept that challenge. Who's next?

soaked and dried my 710s...holy death grip on the waist...these better stretch out asap!!

Mine stretched out more than an inch past raw measurement within a couple of days. You'll be fine. And after about 6 weeks they'll really settle in and start to evolve, and you'll realize what all the fuss is about. Enjoy.
