just measured myself -
35 inch waist (lets assume ~34 or 33.5 after i drop a few lbs in the summer) and a 23 inch thigh as the largest part near my crotch. 21.5 about mid way down my thigh. What would you guys recommend?

i'm thinking im going to ditch my RRLs. The huuuge rise is killing me - i wear it sort of low and I get a big ol bag around my butt. Besides that, the fit is just too full in general, more so than my five hundred and ones. I'll throw it in a hot soak this weekend as a last ditch effort so get some change out of it, if nothin i'll put them on the marketplace.
I'm really eying the SExDB contest jeans, a sort of slim straight fit. I could probably score a nice deal on some.

I picked up a pair of S&S Delilah's for my girlfriend, and she absolutely loves them. She was a little reluctant to try raw denim at first, but once they broke for her she was all about it.
Fit pics:
For reference, these are W26 and unaltered.
Looks good dude. buy her some thongs next

The rise on these seems pretty killer. The measurements on these are tiny in the back - 12 inches? smaller than my "low rise" gap jeans. What do you guys think? Is your ass always hanging out?

Good stuff, very interesting. An artisan at work.

Hey guys -
I like the look of these jeans, looking to cop a used pair if anyone is planning to drop out of the contest. Looking for a "size 32" already soaked preferably. But also let me know if any of you have anything close to that and we can talk.
PM me and we can talk about price.

uuugh. Carpenter pants? Why would you ever want to own those? Carpenter pants are what retards wear who's mother shops for them. If you do decide to get a pair, don't forget the Velcro shoes and the XXL tshirt from old navy.

thats the standard double sewn inseam. mine has it, they all probably do. Two stiches but only one is seen.

Whats that saying in Japan: The nail that sticks out gets hammered down?
Americans invented the jeans and the cuts, and the Japanese perfect it. Where is their original innovation?

This site could be a potential good place for all things denim - background on the manufacturer and fit suggestions along with just pictures.

yeah money is a problem, but stability is important if its going to be popular in the long run. Maybe think about selling some advertising spots down the road?

also, is there a way to get images hosted by the wiki instead of having to use photobucket? Thats going to be a major problem in the long run.
Edit, I added my STF's 8)

this could be very useful but its going to take some work to get past "critical mass" where people start contributing and get it really rolling.

I goto school in north UT so I see plenty of sick wranglers on the agriculture major raised-on-a-farm true blooded cowboys matched with bad ass looking cowboy boots. These guys invented the look too many 'city slickers' on here try and copy.
There is one guy on campus straight out of "walker, texas ranger" complete with the coated black overcoat, blue wranglers and black cowboy hat. Intimidating guy, probably about 7 foot
They wear ever piece for total utility and without a hint of irony.
Other than that, there is a guy who wears evisu in my engineering classes - probably one of the best dressed guys in there. Too bad he FUCKING STINKS of body odor. Where ever he sits there is an empty 5 foot radius around him. blows my mind how he can be so fashion concious yet smell so goddamn bad.

yeah probably getting a little antsy in my pantsy here. going from combs that could kill a man to none is a shock

Is it just me or does it seem like these are grudgingly holding a set of combs? Almost a week in mine and barely there.

i'm rocking the cuff, never was a big fan of roping, didnt see the point.

could you just add your own starch to get a rigid raw effect?

Hey DC i got those jeans i showed you in today, everything looks good. Do you know if they are one wash or raw?

Here they are at 3.5 weeks a few hours after a first and only soak
Here they are now, notice the tacky stitching of the ripped combs in the back.

pics are broken kit99bar

I don't think so, on the yoke of my pair from the new line there's three lines of stitching in white thread on the inside.
The blog article says these pics are from a new pair of rakers

now to decide whether to go with the "sanfordized soft indigo" or rougher "STF dark indigo"
I guessing the difference is just in the texture of the denim (smooth and consistent vs more slubby) and not in the starch or stiffness characteristics of the denim.
It looks like poly had the lighter colored indigo?

Hey poly, just to be sure those are grifters right? Do you think you could post some fit pics?

RRL Rodeo Ralph Lauren

Yeah... shoulda coulda woulda. At least i didn't drop any serious coin on them. However, I wore my STFs for about 3 weeks before a luke warm soak, and still I think the RRLs were fuller. I had to cuff the RRLs about an inch or i would have ground them up in a day, the stfs could get decent stacking and bunching from day one, sans cuff.
On the other hand....
Anyone want some worn 2 weeks RRL straight 32x32 rinse for a bargain close out price??
