Takashi-san from E-workers?
Enjoy your research trip to San Fransico. Looking forward to what you come up with from Boss of the Road and Can't Bustem next year. You have my dream job.

Yeah...they shrink to tag size...may be 1/2 inch below tag size but stretches out to tag size. I am normally a 32 and I got size 32. I'll get you the measurements when I go home tonight.

True to size...been sitting in my closet for a while....they are tough to fade.

Striped chambray.

From BIG. The fit not for everyone....wide leg opening and wide knee...sort of like WWII cut with a shorter rise.

I got one with 10 months of wear. I'll post some pics tommorow.

Setterman, I would get something different. If vintage style jean is what your looking for, 47 Canes is one of the best/closest repro to 47 501s.

I think so, just email Gordon and find out for sure.
I would go with 32. My pair shrunk to tag size with couple warm/hot soaks but stretched out very quickly. 0105C's rise is quite high compare to your Samurai. Very different fit.

Same exact jean. I recommend you size down 1 from true waist.

If you want poka dot and striped chambray fabric from Workers/KTH, you can always wait till sometime next year. Takashi-san will make more work shirts out of the same fabric and with different details. KTH shirts' fit is bit boxy...just like vintage work shirts.
Also check out Cushman. They make a lot of different work shirts with cig. pockets and train conductor front pockets. I just got this today http://www.clever-id.com/htm/cushman/shi/09/25176.html. This shop ships international and accept Paypal.
You might like these two from Cushman. I really like the black one.

I have Cushman 09F/W catalog in PDF. Just PM me and I'll email it to you if you want.

Demonito, I take the competition seriously. But I don't participate in it because of a potential prize at the end. Should there be something? Of course! But for me the "competition" is more about enjoying my and other's denim, and the comraderie in this thread, than a reward.
Yes. I completely agree.
Regarding judging, I agree sending the jean to BIG would be the fairest method. But since this puts additional burden on the international contestants, maybe we can set a standard or rules on how pictures shoud be taken?

There were some discussions but nothing was decided. Probably end up like the Warehouse contest. We submit pics to BIG and let Gordon and Miki-san decide the winners.
Tvshooter - looking real good!

Mr Haga - don't worry about whoring. Those pics are what this thread needs. invisible +rep.
