@fardin - Thanks. I bought the shirt from thewildone.jp through SharpService. I am a large or 40 in most Japanese shirts. My chest is between 39"& 40".
Post wash measurements of the shirt
chest: 53cm
shoulder" 44.5cm
sleeve: 61cm
length:71.5cm
@lostinthesupermarket - Bootlegger about to release leather jackets for this year(http://mirrorball.blog96.fc2.com/blog-entry-429.html). I really like Brakeman as well but damn the price.

Thanks Slab and those who +repped me.
I bought a size 31. My true waist is 81cm and went with 31. The waist measures 80cm post soak. As far as the leg opening, I felt the same way when I first got them but they shrunk alot. Size 31 measures 23cm (9 1/8") pre-soak and 21.5cm(8.5")post soak.

Yeah. The next smaller size was a bit short. I think that's how they suppose to fit.

Great details. I love the slanted front pockets. I hate it when my arms have to be perpendicular to the opening in order to get my hands in and out of Levi's style front pockets.
How about the jacket?

15th - 1001XX fit pics.
The back pocket stitching is crooked and the overall stitching of 1001XX reminds me of WWII models.

Finally got my hands on 15th anniv. 1001XX. The denim got this amazing texture. Compare to the 1000 denim and the 2006 1001XX denim, the 15th 1001 denim is not as dark and much bluer in color. I handwashed and hot soaked in warm water the the waist did shrink to what Warehouse posted on thier website. The leg twist after the soak is really pronounced.
Another thing that stands out is that Warehouse uses really thin threads everywhere on this jean, even the chainstitch around the waist band.

Thanks for posting those close up pics. The over dyed denim fabric looks really interesting.

This guy uses 16oz unsanforized Japanese denim with unbleached cotton and hand dyes in natural indigo from woad. The first collection is due out this Autumn/Winter.
Checkout Five's blog (http://five-secondskin.blogspot.com/search/label/TENDER%20CO). He posted the guidebook on his blog. I really like that jacket.
Edit: can't get the link to work right. You can click on "Tender Co." under category

After the Fullcount contest, I wanted a slimmer cut so I settle on this.
The denim is not hairy at all. Feels rough and irregular but not slubby. I handwashed with warm water and soak for 1.5 hrs. Water turned quite blue. I suspect deluxeware might not hold indigo that well. At least not as well as FC.

I am happy with the fit. I'll post my progress here in a few months.

How much did they charge for a chainstitch hem?
$20. I also had them hem a pair of Bootlegger Reunion green herringbone trouser. It was also $20. Did a really good job.
Zoey was there when i went. She was friendly and helpful.

I visited Rising Sun in Pasadena a couple days ago for a chainstitch hem.

@mlyngard - I understand where you are coming from and I agree with you that JCREW is a marketing machine. I don't like a bunch of trend following clowns who can't appreciate warehouse denim and don't know about details such as all cotton thread, steel button rivets, roping, and chainstitch jump on the Warehouse Bandwagon. But just think of it this way, back in the early 1900s to the 1960s, how many people who wear Levi's and Lee knew about and appreciated those details? Levi's and Lees were also available everywhere.
I don't think any Warehouse product is made in China. I do know Fullcount started two entry models that are made in China with
Chinese cotton last month. Checkout Fullcount thread for that discussion.
I do think many Sufu members will be interested in this JC x WH collab if the fit is a good modern slim cut. Warehouse does not produce many slim models. Maybe 660, 800, and Warren standard and that's it. Rest of the line are all based on vinatge cuts.

It seems Mr. Fujiki change the content of the blog. When it was first posted, the blog had pictures of Gordon doing the translation between Mr. Fujiki and JCREW. It also showed some of the stuff JCREW was researching like UES denim and KTM flannel shirt. JCREW did not hijack anything. Gordon helped JCREW to get this collab done. It seems logical that JCREW would go to Gordon for chainstitching services.
@fardin – Heller’s Café x WH collection has some really unique stuff. I have a Heller’s Café X WH outdoor flannel shirt. It is my favorite flannel shirt.

Well said Cheap. I couldn't agree more.
I wouldn't worry too much about negative impacts on BIG. Gordon being the only North American distributor, I bet he is taking a cut. Also, who do you think JCREW is sending the jeans to for chainstitching?

FC shrinks to tag size and stretches out very easily. It maybe a good idea to exchange for a smaller size.
