Here are the pics comparing the
5507
and the
5010
i still see no resemblance to the 55 cut. it is much to slim. even compared to the 5010 (which is a cut that is borderline skinny) the 5507 is barely a slim straight. it could potentially be other company's slim cut. (310, 710)
but i see the points you make BM

Really love that red.
pretty sure the clasp is supposed to be on the bottom...

^ someone must have forgotten to inform that the '55 cut is extremely roomy. the 5507 is no where near that relaxed of a cut.

^ buy both.

i find it rather comical that people from California only apply to school in California. Have you not heard of Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, brown, Dartmouth, upenn?
the sound of an ivy-league school rings better as a masters or doctorate. and UC Berkeley or UCLA both give a great starting point when looking into getting into that category of graduate students who get the east coast experience as well.

^ that sold out a long time ago (aside from the tiny sizes)
0 -
^ it might be because it is sized 28. perhaps the pockets vary according to size, that way they dont have huge pockets on tiny sizes. Nudies have huge pockets on the tiny sizes and it looks horrible. Or it could also potentially be a uni-sex cut?

I dont disagree Max, I just started with Samurai and they have always had the kind of garment I need, when I have needed it. I've been looking for a few nice shirts for a while though, and I don't really like most of Samurai's denim shirts or work shirts. I find that the material, stitching and details are too much on a shirt, they work well on jackets, jeans, tee's etc....but I like my work shirts to be a bit more plain.
I agree that Samurai's shirts arent always the most subtle in terms of design, but i do think they are all very wearable given you can pull it off. My only concern is that they run much to small for anyone who wears a US L or bigger. the dimensions of Samurai tops are designed for the smaller gentleman, and Iron Heart really is one of the only brands who can accommodate the bigger dudes out there who want something that is going to last for a very long time, along with the more petite individuals.

do u guys who have new jean jackets worry about them staining clothes underneath?
never. it doesnt really do that much damage, cept it does eat up the back of your shirts and creates little bits of fabric to come up. but your clothes remain mostly unharmed.

@laxlife1234- the fit looks good man, but you are still subjected to the horror that is the oversized back pockets that come with Imperials.. but overall, the fit is nice.
