Well I own a 26 in both NC and 19cm with NC being a looser fit than the diors

I would say it would be slimmer than a size 28 diors. My size 26 NC fit makes me imagine what a size 27 dior would look like.

^since youre short it's not really worth it. Might as well go for a PS if you are going to size down that much, and it looks better on dus like us since it has a higher rise.

Ive tried a 25 in PS which felt horrible in the calves yet loose for my liking in the thighs lol. I was hoping for a size 24 NS to give a straight leg yet very slim look. I mean with both the size 25's I have tried in PS and NS I never had any trouble buttoning them up which people usually have trouble with at first to get a real good fit.

The cures arent the same. THey dont have that slight flare at the ankle that New Cures are known for

Theyre the cut that the 19cm was based off. Id guess that theyd be slightly looser than the NC

Anyone know how a New Standard size 24 fits throughout the leg.

My size 25 new standards from a couple of years ago ended up a bit baggy lol.

I know where cxbxw is coming from and I too have had the same confusion and still do

When you read the thread people will generally say to size down 2

In my post I will use a person who is size 28 as an example

So in other words if you are a 28 waist when you read the what people say here the common logic is to get a size APC 26 (which will have a waist of size 28)

Now the problem comes from whether people included stretch factor AND the vanity sizing, where someone like hopper above me makes a post which just added more confusion for a new buyer. Where they say that sizing down comes AFTER you have included the vanity sizing.

Now back to my example of a person who has a 28 waist hoopers post is basically saying to get an APC size 24 (which is sized down 2 from the tag sized true waist)

Now from my personal experience which will probably add more confusion (I always thought I wore a size 28 but in most brands that have a size 26 [and of that matter a size 25 in a77 joey] they have often fit better which makes me believe my true waist[hip] size is 27 rather than the 29inches that it measure with the tape)

I have

Size 26 in NC

Size 25 in NS

Size 25 in PS (but I am not sure if the person I bought it from altered them in anyway becuase the way the leg fits is really weird like below the knee feels stupidly tapered and doesnt drape at all)

My NC I could have sized down more,

My NS I think I could size down more to a 24

(I never had trouble buttoning both these jeans up when I first got them)

My PS like I said just feels off, below the knee feels really tight that it looks like a tug of war contest in the thigh area which is just pulled really tight and straight rather than just draping between the waist and knee. And just to add I dont have trouble buttoning them up nor do the thighs feel tight since I dont fill them out.

Im tempted in getting some of those faux noir (are they the 'washed black' ones off the site?)

How big is the leg opening on the size 25's and how do they fit in your calves??

Both can be slipped off without unbuttoning. Overall, the Dior fit is a lot nicer IMO, feels a lot more slimmer, legs feel more structured and retained their shape more. On top of that the butt area stays nice and flat and close to the body

APC NC feel noticeably looser in the leg and the butt area is more puffy. I havent really worn them in about 2 years but after slipping em on recently the fit is growing on me again

I think so, a little bit, I wear my jeans on the hips but the thighs on the NC are definitely a bit wider than the 19cm's theyre both worn on the same area on the hips
