Got my MA-1 in yesterday, and I must say that it's a pretty nice jacket.  Glad that I was able to get one in my size.  

I got one box of toothpicks with my first order.

Death to resellers.  Bad for people that want to have multiple colorways of certain items though.

I was planning on getting both the black and green MA-1 but now... I don't know.

Good buy.  I have a pair of Sk8-His on the way, and they'll be my first pair as well.  I saw these on /fa/ a while back, and though they turned out great.

Eventually gonna have to pick up a pair of black and white ones, and color/paint all the stitching black.  Such a clean look.

I never said they were nicer than an off the shelf pair lol.  I just said they look pretty nice.  I have been searching for some Port Royale Sk8-His but haven't found any in my size.  I'd rather have the Port Royales than these.

Honestly, the burgundy Sk8-His look pretty nice to me.

Thank you, Steven, for letting me stop by your workshop yesterday and for hemming my jeans on the spot!  It was really cool seeing your operation in person.

Speedway Stout ages really well.  I cracked open a two or three year old bottle on New Years Eve and it was perfect.  Really rich and intense in flavor, but smooth as silk.

Agitation, hoss. There's plenty of shrinkage left in those.

So I should soak them again, but agitate the denim?  I figured soaking them for that long in water that hot would do the trick.

Soaked my S710XXes in 120°F water last night for about an hour, and allowed them to dry all through today.  They did not shrink nearly as much as I thought they would.

I may soak them for another half an hour or so just to see if there is any additional shrinkage, but we'll see.  They desperately need to be hemmed, and I think I'm going to have them tapered just a bit more than they are now.  I love the quality on these though.  The details are so awesome.
