  1. I have a pair of uniqlo vintage chinos for sale. They are khaki color and size 32x34. These are brand new (a bit wrinkled from shipping).

Since I'm in Canada, it was difficult for me to get these and cost me more. Too bad my soccer thighs are too big for these. I'm selling these for $39.99 + $9.99 shipping in the continental US and Canada. I accept paypal and please have a confirmed/verified address. Any other questions, ask. Thanks.

  2. I pmed you

Yeah... shoulda coulda woulda. At least i didn't drop any serious coin on them. However, I wore my STFs for about 3 weeks before a luke warm soak, and still I think the RRLs were fuller. I had to cuff the RRLs about an inch or i would have ground them up in a day, the stfs could get decent stacking and bunching from day one, sans cuff.

    On the other hand....

Anyone want some worn 2 weeks RRL straight 32x32 rinse for a bargain close out price?? :D

  3. Does anybody know where I can find the Buzz Rickson White chambray shirt in a medium? The only place I saw it online was Selfedge but it's sold out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  4. Can anyone comment on the soles of the new "Street" line? They do appear to be the same as the vintage padmore ones as they also have a non-removable insole. The crepe on the old ones were more firm. Also, are these slimmer than the chunky China ones? Thanks.

    They're from a new Originals

collection named Street (not tapping into the zeitgeist, but named after their Somerset base). Slimmed down profiles, less corny branding.

You see this insole and you're onto good stuff:

They have some of the new collection on display next to some older pairs (metal tag logo, the works) in my local branch and the differences are laughable.

  5. Does anybody know what the deal is with the new Clarks Padmore Wallabee (not the vintage ones)? Ebay link below. I've seen some at online sites also. Are they made any different from standard wallabees or are they just trying to capitalize on the Padmore name? Thanks.

  6. Hey guys. I'm a newbie and I just found out about the Supreme padmore barnes wallabees (in the process of reading this thread). Can you guys give me some more info on these? Do they fit like vintage wallabees or big like new ones? I checked out the warehouse sale link and they didn' have my size. Are they only available in suede or are they made in leather also? Does anybody know where I can get them in a size 10? Were there any other brands that had padmore and barnes make wallabees for them? Thanks for any help. Thanks.

  7. Hi. I have these jeans up on ebay. They were worn only weekends for about 7 months. They were dry cleaned once and washed once (at the end of the 8 months) cold gentle wash and air dryed . The inseam shrank about 1" so that's why I'm getting rid of them. They are tagged 31 and measure 16.5" across (33") waist. The inseam in 30.5". Any questions, just ask. Thanks.

  8. I was wondering the same thing when I saw the movie. I wouldn't be surprised if they were Japanese repros.

If we could some how contact Jacqueline West I'm sure she could tell us. She was the costume designer for the movie.

The first thing I thought when I saw that scene in the movie was where I could get those boots. I'm not as well-versed in vintage boots as most people here, but that is exactly what I'm looking for (are the called Engineer boots?). The leather color is a perfect dark brown and the front toe is low profile, not bulbous like the gentleman traveler. I was looking at getting a budget pair so I looked at the LL Bean katahdin (but don't like the cap toe) and the Frye Arkansas (but the toe is bulbous). If anybody knows of a similar pair as the Benjamin button ones, any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
