  1. Sometimes I have stuff literally sold then the buyer backs out and sure enough it goes for less than some of my initial offers. Hopefully the seller wasn't bullshitting but it happens especially on grailed

  2. Comparatively speaking (if you are looking at other major cities like nyc, shanghai, etc) but as others mentioned in this thread its in the bay area which allows for a greater diversity in a pretty small traveling distance

  3. Agreed, I have a ton of friends who moved back to LA and are loving life but their career situation isn't as good. It's pretty easy to pick a career path up in the bay area and stick with it, pretty easy to bounce around between companies too. Only problem I have is the benefits are pretty minimal considering the opportunities that can be had in other cities (jobs permitting). Shanghai for example I can live like a king on the cheap and continue career development, but in the end Shanghai is not San Francisco and I do kinda feel at home here.

I have a buddy who moved to Portland and extended family that lived there previously, and while it is a great city it feels like diet-SF or SF junior. There's something about smaller cities that I find myself growing in and out of too fast (Seattle being a great example after living there for 5 years). There's a lot of cool things to be had, but in the end it just feels small in scale compared to SF or NYC

  4. Do Japan exclusives such as the frank soutien coat usually get world wide releases in following seasons ?

It's on the US website for 2460 iirc, are you referring to 3rd party retailers? It probably depends if they make it again (likely)

  5. Christ just buy the schedins why do people challenge here. They look the same youre good! Go for it then, you'll fall into the same camp as those who bought the verginias trying to save money but having seen them in person they are not as good.

If all you care about is saving a buck and having the same look achieved by all means get the schedins, were trying to save the disappointment

If you really want to know the cp have a better foodbed/insole, are lined with split leather rather than chinsy ass perf leather, and have a sharper more streamlined toebox that looks better (in person or online apparently the same for you)

Maybe just buy greats, the gustin copies, or Axel arigato!

  6. Edit: wrong nylon mag- grabbed korean copy

Back on topic, the visvim ma-1 dropped- too heavily distressed and it ended up being poly lined. Way pricey for what you get but attention to detail and cutting look spot on, as far as nailing all the classic elements it looks great.

  7. Got lucky with olives on grailed, whites on rakuten were brand new so I couldn't pass. They are actually really uncomfortable (in terms of standing) the padding on the footbed is terrible but the chunkiness is awesome. Fits same as converse give or take.
