  1. There are a bunch of outlets outside nyc called woodbury commons with a dior homme outlet. last time i was there they had a bunch of assorted raws for $114. see if you can find someone to proxy from there. i'll definitely be making a stop there next time i go to new york but i dont know when that will be. other than that thegrapist sounds like a good option or the market?

  2. CG was stolen last week so I bought this real quick as a replacement. Want to get another CG but need some cash.

  3. just a heads up y'all, lvc '47 501's are on sale at TNT for $119. grabbed a pair the other day. pretty decent selection of sizes.

took one of my pairs in need of repair to studio kim with some pretty specific instructions on how I would like them done. brought them a nice piece of blue line cone mills selvedge denim from white oaks and showed them exactly how i wanted the crotch re-enforced with it. i'll see tomorrow if i want to bring my skulls to them.

edit: also found out that klaxon howl can send jeans out to have jeans hemmed with a chainstitch. apparently it isn't the quickest turnaround as it's his production factory with the union special so it obviously isn't done in house. always nice to have another option though.

  4. Workout wise throughout the winter Hart House has pick up ball every weekday from 1-3 which is a great workout and a lot of fun. Varsity Arena also has pick up hockey every day. I also find swimming pretty relaxing - I work at the pool at Hart House and there's workout classes in the water every day. If there's enough people on here down to play a little shinny we shout hit either the Scaddingcourt or Rosedale rinks sometime.

Living wise, I lived on Henry St. last year in the annex west of Spadina for pretty cheap. All along Beverly/Baldwin/Mccaul/Darcy there are lots of nice places for relatively cheap... you do need to be careful about the rats and shit though. A bunch of freinds also live on McGill St. which is just east of Yonge and south of College. Their place is unreal and I don't think their rent is too bad. something to look into.
