New member of the Full count club. Have briefly owned and promptly sold 0105's (way too loose for my scrawny legs) 0108 (too slim- highlighted my scrawny legs) but have just picked up a pair of 1101xx's which i'm pretty damn happy with with. Arc-less and tab-less, which is a shame, but I sewed a tab on for good measure.
Some before and after pics for comparison...
Perfect

PS: seems that they also have 30% off right now...
It’s been 30% for ages now I wonder if they are getting rid of current denim and getting new I’ve got a incoming pair of red no1 and I got the tiger no1 2000 the wash and hem for you

Here’s something I’m working on. It’s not finished because I want to show a comparison of all the 601XX cuts. These are actual measurements of my own jeans, which have all been:
a) Hemmed to varying lengths for cuffing purposes, so the hem is based on a 770mm inseam
b) Washed and worn, some more than others, so the waist is less certain and stretch and shrink will have a small impact
Anyway it might be useful as long as you don’t get too hung up on every millimetre …
What size do you take duke please

Well, I'm not too sure actually. Probably 40? Since I live close to John, I just drove to his place and he had me try a few jackets to figure the right size for me. I now that jacket I tried was made for someone who asked for a shorter length.
That’s brilliant that you can just drive to his house and get fitted have you got any of his a2s

My size 36 1955s are a bit baggy in the hips / thighs, even after a soak. I'm doing a second soak in hotter water, but if it still ends up being too big, anyone interested in buying them? They are unworn, as they have been sitting in a box for the last 6-7 years since I bought them from a Japanese store and I just soaked for the first time yesterday.
Wow how much are looking for them?

Thanks for the reference point... do you have measurements for the 711 you can share?
I can at the weekend by memory the the 711s more comfortable but you definitely need the same size in both models

I have the 711s and the 710s both in a 38 I’m a 36 in most Japanese made jeans even 34 in freewheelers 51s

Went to see John Chapman at Goodwear on Monday. Super nice guy and extremely passionate. I'm finally at the head of the line. First to come, just on time for summer, will be a B-6 jacket...
How long have you had to wait for the jacket ? I heard he makes the best! I went to meet someone a couple of years ago in south London who was selling one but it was too small
