broke down and copped a pair of size 30 DH 19cm from the 5th ave store...ill post fit pics probably some time next week

cant get the top button done yet, but they said at the store theyll stretch just enough so that i can...fit was basically exactly what i wanted

gonna give mine their second hot soak tonight i think...feel like they could still shrink a bit more

edit: soaked them last night, wore them this afternoon and now the fit is pretty much perfect (at least as far as what i was looking for)

myabe should have tried hot soaking them bitches...i sized up 2 (to a 34) and mine fit fine...of course if you want something slimmer, only go up 1, mine are more on the straight side of slim/straight

mindxmatters is correct, NC are selvage, the edge just doesnt show because of the taper..whos really going to be cuffing denim so tapered anyway?

think i might soak mine again when i get home this weekend cause i feel like they could use a little more shrinking...couldnt get the water quite as hot as i wouldve liked in the school tub...they just need a little tightening up in the thighs and they should be ok

Also, most of the products are not worn according to the sizing chart because they aren't soaked…I usually size down as much as possible to best accentuate the fit so the buyer will know how it compares to other cuts. Hopefully there wasn't any confusion.

understandable...like i said, not what i expected, but im pleasantly surprised...they fit well

besides i dont have your proportions to pull off such a tight cut...it would have looked ridiculous on me that fitted

Sid's pair aren't heavily altered, I'm pretty sure he sized down one from his 3001 size to a 28, which is why they appear so slim pre-soak. Anyway - I just hot soaked my bsps and dried them and they are painfully, nut huggingly tight. Fit pics to come.

perhaps i didnt phrase that right...he sized down rather than up as recommended and hemmed the inseam down significantly, so the fit he has is not what is going to be typical of those who follow the self edge sizing instructions

Yeah you're luck on that coupon... I currently have the SEXFHO5 and I really like how yours fit.

I thought they would be much slimmer actually..i think i was deceived by Sidney's heavily altered pair that is displayed on the self edge site, but nonetheless I'm quite happy with the fit and glad I didn't try to size down anymore.

have to agree with everybody else, RyanF's fit suits him really well. Mindxmatters - your F310s look really good for only 4-4.5 months.

ryan, could you post what your true waist and measurements are? how big are your thighs and what sizes in other jeans do you wear? thanks, i'm getting mine in the mail pretty soon and got a 34 as well

i usually wear a size 32...i was wearing some apcs before these in a size 30...id say my actual waist measurement is probably a 32 considering these probably shrank about 1.5 sizes and i still have a little room...i think?

i dont really remember how much the waist shrinks but like i said i have just a bit of room so they dont really hug...my thighs are kinda average sized...used to play hockey and they were pretty thick...that and i gained some wait last year, but i lost quite a few pounds...however my weight sits high and seems to not have very much impact on my waist size, and my thighs have slimmed out from regular running...my overall build is fairly average

se05bsp sized up 2 (to a tagged size 34)...40 minute hot soak in the tub, 40 minutes in the dryer, then worn damp

please be advised: i used my school's (dorm) dryer and the thing turned completely blue from the jeans so put them in the dryer at your own risk...i was just looking to shrink them as much as possible...

they fit my waist pretty much perfectly, with just a touch of room so theyre not squeezing me...they have not been hemmed...i will likely hem them if i can get over to BiG when i get back to the city

this is as much info as i can give you for now but feel free to ask me anything...hope that helps clear up some of the sizing issues, even though i cannot provide measurements

oh yeah...and let me know what you guys think of how they fit
