Do these stretch a lot? So I can run true to size or even size down one?

Sizing down one seems like a good idea, could anyone tell me their past experience with flathead denim in terms of stretching?

I've got some sz 31 APC New Cures that have been worn for about 1 or 2 months inconsistently.

Hey I was thinking of getting a pair of flatheads next but I'm not sure how to size on them?

I wear a PBJ size 31, but I think I could have sized down one.

Any suggestions on flat head fits?

And which one for the best slim fit?

It's a 36 hem to begin with and I hemmed off about 1.5 inches, so now it's about 34.5 inches.

It's a size 32...so the waist is a size...32...lol

I'm working on pictures, but while I work on them they also just look like any other pair of s710xx.[indigo]

Like why isn't anyone jumping on this pair?

Nobody wears 32's or something?

It's been hemmed about 1.5 inches.

I bought them about a week ago in Japan but I realized I sized up too much. I've got all the tags and stuff but I removed it off the jeans in order to avoid customs.

The jeans have the red tab if that matters at all.

Hmmm...I'm kind of disappointed with the fit, I thought it would be more slim.

Should I keep them or sell them? I like my PBJ xx-005 much more than these fit wise.

Or I dunno, maybe I'll keep it just to see how a not so slim pair of jeans fades.

Or for the sake of owning a pair of samurais, lol.

I've been wearing my size 32 s710xx indigos for a few days now.

They fit perfectly now but I was wondering if anyone had experiences with this stretching a lot?

The guy at Americaya told me it's thick weaving so it shouldn't stretch at all, can anyone reassure me, lol...

Ueno is the one stop place for all denim lovers.

The staff there is also exceptionally helpful even if you can't speak Japanese, they explain the pre and post soak measurements and such.

I think it depends on if you do things like squatting or riding a bike alot, things that rub the combs a lot.

I think humidity helps with fading because of the water. I mean it's basically the same thing as why you tell people to wear their jeans when damp, because it creates creases faster and harder, which likewise creating creases is making fades.

As for my PBJs[xx-005 one-wash] I got them size 31 and they fit perfect, but now they are about 1-2 inches too big on the waste so I use a belt.

And the honeycombs. I think that having them tight around the knees wouldn't really help honeycombs, I think what helps is doing something that makes them crease or rub, I.E. take the stairs or bike.

As pathetic as it sounds since I'm here in Japan I take the opportunity to do both, lol. +You do a lot of walking here and I figured biking would be better for fades.

Well I mean I knew it was going to stretch, just not that much.

Because when I got them they were really tight so I was hoping that they would stretch to just right, but they stretched way more than I was hoping.

What size did you get midnight?

I got the xx-005s about 4 weeks ago here in Ueno[Tokyo]. I've been here for roughly a month and I'm staying for 2 more weeks, I think the humidity really helps the fades because I'm starting to see some whiskers already. Anyway for whatever reason superfuture will not let me post any photos even if I resize them and make them really small bit wise. So I'll upload somewhere else and link back here.

Also just to add the the stretching bits people keep talking about, I got my xx-005s one wash so it shouldn't really stretch, but the waist has stretched out quite a bit, so I wear a belt. But the other parts of the jeans didn't stretch out really.

Wtf, I use JPG so I don't need to resize it, and it is usually 92kb or less so it fits into the requirements but it won't let me upload...

edit: I resized and it still doesn't work...maybe I'll upload somewhere else and just link...

this is so troublesome.

I tried to upload photos but it told me my photos exceeded the limit size... So I guess I have to try retaking the photos on a shitter resolution...

Hmmm...does anyone know what setting I should try using? I used the lowest res on my cam and it still didn't work...lol

I dig my wallet fade too, I'll post pics up tomorrow, promise of my wallet fade and the jeans, they are fading pretty good because I've been in Japan for a while now[one month] and I still have a month left, I think the humidity helps a lot.

As for the wallet I think you should just forget about trying to change to another wallet if you already like the fade, maybe put the wallet in the other pocket? I dunno personally if I lost my wallet I would just give up on putting in a wallet in at all since I'm anal about messing up fades.

How are your thigh/whisker fades coming though?

Yo I've got some PBJs at around 4 weeks of wear I'll take some photos and upload later.

I also made a trip last weekend to Ueno and got a pair of s710xx[samurais].

But I'm working on my PBJs first, the wallet fade is really making me happy it's really 3d, I guess it's cuhs my wallet is so fat.

Aside from that I really wish I sized down one more[i got a 31], the thighs are pretty tight, but one size down I think I could deal with, but what bugs me is the waist, lol.

I got a belt from Uniqlo though, I'll take pics and post it up ASAP.

I just picked up a pair on saturday, I suggest you size up one.

I usually wear a size 30 but I had to get a 31.

But actually it stretched a bit, so it really depends on how tight you want it.
