  1. You're out of order! You're out of order! The whole trial is out of order! They're out of order! That man, that sick, crazy, depraved man, raped and beat that woman there, and he'd like to do it again! He *told* me so! It's just a show! It's a show! It's "Let's Make A Deal"! "Let's Make A Deal"! Hey Frank, you wanna "Make A Deal"? I got an insane poster who likes to beat the shit out of women! Whaddya wanna gimme Frank, 3 weeks probation?

  2. sorry to hear that haga.

sufu sort of killed my last relationship... 4 years... glimpsing the fast lane can really fuck with you.

hurt someone i really care(d) about... some shit you live with other shit you just live around and this is the latter

probably had to happen though or i'd midlife crisis someday and really fuck shit up...

    life~

  3. yeah i've been seeking subnet forever but whatever. silver lining is you don't need to wait in anticipation for the drop.

also never been disappointed by any of my kops so I don't mind making snap decisions.

  4. Anyone got any suggestions for some tech chinos/trousers? Not necessarily tech in styling just something made from technical fabric (schoeller etc). I was going to go with outlier climbers but a lot of people have commented on them being very stretchy and legging like (although I guess thats sort of the point) and the 4 seasons pants would probably be a bit baggy.

outlier chinos are boss; great cut, doesn't look tech, fabric is resistant

  5. My issue is that they're where you'd find the bottom two buttons on a 3 button jacket or blazer, and you don't use the bottom button in that instance, but I suppose if you want it done up higher up, you just use the zip.

exactly - 3 button suit rule "always, sometimes, never;" this jacket only has sometimes and never ;P

i wonder how difficult it would be to get a button moved. the zip is not nearly as convenient as the buttons and increase heat-retention significantly which sometimes is not desired. I also find all the pockets are hard to get into/use.

Still, the only really good looking techblazer out there right now and it held up in the last nyc downpour w/o umbrella

  6. Yes, two snap buttons (tbh I'd prefer if they were a little higher up) and a zip.

agreed, snap buttons should have been placed higher. the lower one should have been placed above the higher one with the same distance apart as they are now. although i'm sure erlsn thought this out and there's some functional reason for it.

  7. Can anyone point me to some high grade tech wear shirts that don't have me look a goth ninj or a designer ?

Something I can wear under a suit.

Straight up , tailored and no gimmicks(zippers etc)...

Sounds like you're looking for a dress shirt and not a techwear shirt at all. That being said, http://shop.ministryofsupply.com/

  8. the firenze from that pack is still available at bodega... but yeah roccia vet is better

thanks for the heads up i think i'm actually gonna grab a pair of those for the impending frost.

cmdr: thanks sir, the 5ts is pushing the back in a little I wish it was a tad slimmer but yeah the sleeves are on point.

  9. Going to try crossfit out at a friends gym tomorrow. Not sure it's for me, but I get a weeks classes for free. Trying out IF/Leangains at the moment too though, so it'll be a fasted workout. Lost 6kg in 6 weeks on IF so far, despite having a cold for the last week and a half.

fwiw, i have been if/leangains for about 5 or 6 months, cf 4-5/week for 2 months 6am always fasted, modified paleo (eat dairy). lifts are going up and gaining weight slowly... used to box 5x/week for 2 years and miss the martial arts cardio but definitely feel more well rounded and you'll still get your heart racing if you push hard on the metcons
