I bought the about a month and a half ago. i sized down 1 when i shouldn't have. i have probably worn them about 20 times. not a whole lot of fading. just the arcs in the back pockets are visible now. and a little bit of small fades here and there.

looking for 245 shipped. or trade for a brand new pair of PBJ xx005 size 34. or any other size 34 i find interesting. I can get pics if anyone is interested

my s710bk19oz. I soaked these sept. 4 and started wearing them a little after that, so this an almost 3 months update.

If these combs son't move in an upcoming wash/soak, I think they'll turn out great:

These are turning out great. i have the same pair. only been working on mine for about a month, these are inspiring me to keep wearing them. so those are just 1 initial soak?

So after reading the whole Samurai thread from page 1, I have a few questions.

Im about to order a pair of s710xx and s710bk from 2nd and im im curious to know if any of you who have ordered these jeans from them recently have gotten either lot 10 or 11? I suppose I can just ask them to send me lot 11

The thing im really confused about is the sizing and i need some help, I hope someone can help me out. im naturally a size 28 actually like 28 and 3/4ths and I bought the apcs new standards in size 26 and they stretched to a 29 by me wearing them on my hips. my thighs and legs in general are pretty skinny and my apc ns's had a loose slim fitting ( not sure if thats even a way to describe how jeans fit) and if the 710s are a little bit slimmer I wont mind, but im not looking for a skin tight slim fit jean just something slim fitting. here are a few pictures of the new standards.

Im not sure if I should order the 710s in size 28 or 29, im looking for a slim fit that’s not skin tight, so im thinking I should go with size 28. also from reading the whole samurai thread i know how annoying it is when people ask about "what size to get" questions so i apologize ahead of time. so can someone please give me some advice?

It was lot 11 when i ordered mine about 2 months ago. you should get a 28. because the 28 and 29 have the exact same measurements besides the 29 being 1 inch bigger i the waist.

Kiya, do you know if Flathead ever plans on making the 3001 or f310 in a size 36? i'm about a 36 true waist and that is the cut that i want. Not sure if a 34 would work for me. i wear a 32 i NS and i have a 33 in S710 but they are still tight in the waist

BiG says 8.75" (33) and 9" (34) pre wash.

they will look good once you soak them. if i were you i would wear them while you are soaking them or you probably wont be able to button them up afterwards.

just got my s710 bks and they were fucking too small as i would expected it to be. i wondering if i should keep them and go through the pain as many sufuers do. i got a 29 does anyone wanna trade for 30?

they arent all the same. the first hidden arcs in the USA model are embroidered, though others (710bk) have wire in them

one issue with them ive heard is that the thicker/more intense wire type ones faded faster/incongruently with the rest of the jean and can tend to stand out more than some care for

qft. my bk's have pretty much no fading except for my arcs which are solid grey. i like the look alot actually. only have about 10-15 wears in them though

just got my F310s, they fit tight around the waist but not painfully tight. Should I cold soak them or hot soak them.. i need to get them hemmed too

you could always do a hot soak but keep the waist band out of the water. or sit in a hot bathtub while wearing them...

they will turn out beautiful. with the BSP, my second slim fitting jeans.

was absolutely worried about both pairs and in the end they turned out to be the best fitting pairs so far.

sizing down is a tricky business with a 37+ waist!

i have the same problem with all my jeans. my waits is right at 36 or so and only jeans that fit me well are vanity sized things like diors apc's and somets. where i can size down with the legs but the waist is still gonna be big enough to accomodate
