  1. Not sure if I should size down to a 30 or a 29 for NC if my natural waist is a 31.

29 at least maybe a 28. I am a natural waist 32 and just got 29s, they are still tight as fuck in the hips and waist and kinda tight in the thigh, but I have only worn them for a couple of hours. Im loving the denim stiffness.

to be honest the jeans were way too big on me and after the first couple of weeks i couldn't wear them and keep them up any longer so they have just sat in my closet to the point i had actually forgotten about them until about 2 weeks ago.

I don't like sufu any more. I just want to avoid you guys, so I told the guys down in IT to block sufu's web address. I have the address to the next person in the line up, but why send it to him when I could make a buck off the jeans myself? They are going to Canada, but to a buyer I found.

To be honest, the jeans looked better than I imagined. No wonder everyone wants Diors! But I needed cash fast so I flipped them. I would say sorry, but I don't give a shit! So leave me and my diesel jeans alone, bye!

jskidder has like 7-8 pairs of washed diors, maybe more, and at least indigo mij raws. he doesnt have any reason to steal other people's diors and I wouldnt think hed split and keep them. but he still looks like a dumbass because of this whenever the jeans finally get there.

  3. I literally dont even know if I could get my hips into 28s though. I tried on NCs in 29s at Barneys because they were out of NS, and they fit fine (but tight) from the thigh down but I couldnt even button 1 button. lol wierd...

  4. my thighs are bigger and usually I dont fit cuts as slim as 19cm very well, but new standards and slim jims are good. I like the cut a lot, just small enough to stack without being skin tight from the thigh down. pretty nice denim, maybe better than dior MIJ raw IMO.

  5. ok so I just got my new standards from denim bar today. they are a size 29. for comparison, I usually wear size 32s in most jeans, I had 19cm sz 30 that I sold because the cut is too slim for me, and my 21cm sz 31s stretched too big for me. these feel tight as shit from the hip up, but barely tight in the thighs (my 19cms felt like they were going to choke the life out of my thighs, and my 21cms were tighter in the thighs than these to start).

did I buy too big? It was a real struggle to button them up, and I dont want them to be super-super slim, but will the thigh stretch a lot even if its not very tight right now? I just dont want the thighs to end up bagging and looking wierd when above the thigh is pretty tight right now. I have never owned a pair of jeans smaller than 30 (size 30 in diesel only) before these.

  6. ok guys. i went to saks and tried on 30 in 19cm cuz that was the smallest they had. It fit and I was told to size down to 29. i guess trying them on is the only real way to solving the sizing issue cuz i got all sorts of answers here. now the final decision, to get 19CM RAWS or UNDER MY CARS??? Which one should i get people?

they had both of these at my saks too. I ended up getting 30s in 19cms, they were tight as hell and I could barely get the top button done. ended up selling them because they never stretched as much as I thought they would. I wish they made 30.5 cause the 31s fit me well in the store but I know they would have stretched too much.

and if you are in between sizes on MIJ 19cm raw, Id definitely recommend the lower size in UMCs (which are MII). I dont even know what the stretching is like, but I tried on 31s cause it was all they had and I definitely needed 30s.

  7. finally ordered some new standards in 29s, I went to some boutiques in SF and Barneys and both have been out of stock, and every online store has been out of stock but denimbar finally got some more. I wanted to try them on first, but I think/hope I went with the right size. kinda nervous though cause I tried on New Cures in 29s at Barneys and I couldnt even button a single button, but the rest felt alright.

  8. had the same thing with my 19cms, awaiting an answer because I was thinking of buying a pair of NSs after work today. think Im gonna do it regardless, but still curious cause I know it will happen to me eventually as well

  9. yeah its really strange, yeah I realized it was in CM and that is was the raw on PBJs website. for example, a size 32 in 007s according to BIG is 34.5, 12.5, and 8.75 for waist, thigh, and leg opening in raw pre wash. on PBJs website, it is 34.2, 12.0, 8.25. so as you can see, the waist matches up, but the thigh and leg opening are significantly different.

but like you guys said, Im more inclined to believe BIG since everyone else has had success with it.

  10. so I know nothing about boots, what is the minimum I can spend to get something that will last a long time? I live in ohio, so I expect wear in some ugly weather. is it possible to get something nice for under $200? $150?

is there a buyers guide with some sufu favorite brands? I feel like its a lot harder to determine your choices for boots than it is for denim.

  11. So Im really confused now... how come PBJ and BIG have such conflicting measurements posted? I assume the measurements on PBJ are for raw, unwashed, but they dont come close to matching up with BIG on the 007s or 006s, and those are the only ones I checked. Anyone have insight into why this is and who to believe? According to PBJ, the 007 is a lot slimmer than the measurements on BIG led me to believe.

  12. I'm a 31/32 most of the time, so I went with 32s. I couldn't find measurements anywhere, so it'll be interesting to see how they're sized. What size did you get and what do you normally wear?

if those marc jacobs are anything like the other selvadge pair I tried on at bloomingdales, you should have gotten a 30. I usually wear 31/32 and a 32 was pretty big on me. I almost bit on those yesterday too, almost wish I would have.

  13. If i go it to BiG will all my sizing questions be answered? Or is research the only way?

I asked the same about selfedge and I was told that BIG and selfedge had probably the most knowledgable denim staffs this side of the pacific, and they should be able to size you.

that being said, when I go to selfedge Im going to research first since I am always weary of giving my full trust to sales people in any business, no matter how good they might be.

  14. OK thats strange, those measurements must have been right after a soak or brand new or something, I seemed to see a few of them though. Is the general consensus that you should size up 1 from DH 19cm size then? The fading on the 007s + the dark stitching = sick as hell.

And whats the word on the 010s? Seems to be very limited info on here according to searches, are they just 007s with a purple weft?

  15. OK so Im a bit confused. Im looking through old SUFU market posts to see measurements of 005s and 007s compared to the BIG measurements, and they seem to be nearly on point except for in the thigh. all of the posts I am seeing in sizes 30-32 are measuing .5-.75 inches less in the thigh than post wash measurements on BIG, like 11 or 11.25 in the thigh for size 31. any comments from others on this? I am thinking that given I want about 32.5 final waist measurement after stretching, I should get a 31 in raw 007s, but these 11 inch thighs will not work for me.

  16. so for the BSPs from selfedge, if I want a final waist of about 16.5 or so, do I need a 33 or a 34? the sizing seems totally different from typical flatheads, and I noticed the note from selfedge about sizing up, but I wanted a second opinion.
