  1. i copied this off of teh apc site, dont worry i assume you checked there first, so blame them if its wrong

    AMERICAN RAG SF (WOMEN)

    AZALEA (MEN, WOMEN)

411 Hayes Street, San Francisco, CA 94102

    BARNEYS SAN FRANCISCO (MEN, WOMEN)

    77 O'Farrell Street, san Francisco, CA 94108

    ROLO (MEN, WOMEN)

1235 Howard Street, San Francisco, CA 94103

Just to update these for you, Barneys has almost nothing in any APC cut right now, I went in September and left my phone #, they still havent called me back to tell me they have new sizes in. Dont even bother checking there.

Azalea's stock you can check online. Try to add a pair to the cart, I couldn't find one that wasnt out of stock. They have been this way for over a month too.

Your best bet is to buy online, its what I did. I didnt check out Rolo though, might want to give them a call.

  2. If your Nudie size is 28 in raws Id say you need a 27 personally. I wear 30 in Slim Jim raws, and 29s in New Standards are no looser. Probably depends on the Nudie cut and what type of dry it is though. I think a good rule of thumb is -3 from your natural waist.

  3. what is the differance between NC F and NC H?

heard that F is for ladies and H is for guys ,but what is the difference?

    damn i got some NC F 27 ,im a guy.

Only difference is size... I think anything 28 or bigger is labeled H, and 27 or smaller is F.

  4. Yeah Im torn about the SExSC at $305 too... but I have made so many mistakes in my purchases over the past couple months (2x Dior and 1x APC...) while learning the difference between what looks best on me and what looks best on the shelf or in pictures online that the extra money wont be the decision maker in the end, at least for me. I just wish this came out a month earlier so I could have avoided my last bad decision, lol.

Hope these work for me, plan on stopping in on Friday after work (PAYDAY BIIIIIATCH!) to check them out.

  5. the main shrinkage was in the waist, seat and inseam. The hem didnt shrink too narrow. I hotsoaked my jeans in nearly boiling water for over a 1/2 hour and even considered throwing them in the dryer. At first they were nearly perfect, but after I put them on they stretched out to be ill-fitting. I think my sizing issue is that My flatheads at size 31 are already a size up one, so at 32 the sexsc06 are two sizes up and a slightly looser cut than the flatheads which results in a baggy look that is unsatisfactory, for me at least.

Ill get pictures this evening comparing the fit of the flatheads compared to the sugarcanes.

Might be interested in taking those 32s from you... obviously youre in the sf/bay area if you have these already, right? If you are interested in selling them to someone local shoot me a PM with post soak waist, thigh, and leg opening measurements. Looking forward to the FH comparison pics though regardless.

  6. anyone have a post soak knee/leg opening measurement? I get how the rest of the jeans are gonna shrink, but I just want to get an idea of how slim of a leg this is after shrinkage. I want to want these so bad but I have a feeling the leg opening will be slimmer than I want post soak.

  7. I went to the store and tried on all different cuts of the jeans and honestly, the sales person told me that the rescues and NS were too baggy on me. I am a female and I have curves, and I like showing them. I've been getting really good comments from people about the fit.

But what really matters is that I like the jeans cause I paid for them. Whats the point of using this forum if you guys can't even recognize me as a female and thats just pathetic.

you have to realize 99.9% of the people on this forum are guys, its easy to just look at any post with the context of how a guy would want to look without thinking twice. and if you dont want constructive criticism, dont post your pictures. I dont think anybody was being mean or anything, they are just saying there may be more flattering cuts for you.

  8. so am I really reading this right... according to Context's sizing chart, I need to get a 28 in Rescues if Im coming from a 29 in New Standards (selling cause cut isnt for me)?? I have never even worn 29s in jeans before the NS, but if the sizing chart is right I'll need 28s in these?

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I bought these about 3 weeks ago. I only wore them to work 4 days last week, other than that I have worn them some after work, but for limited amounts of time because they were too tight to wear out. In all I'd say theres probably about about 6-8 days of wear in them, so nothing set and no fading. They have not been soaked or altered in any ways.

Size 29, inseam >34 inches which is a plus cause you arent always guaranteed that with the small sizes. I definitely need to move to Rescue, the cut isnt for me.

    Waist aligned: ~16 inches

    Thigh at crotch: ~11.75 inches

    Leg Opening: ~7.6

    Inseam: ~34.5

$100 shipped priority mail in the CONUS to CONFIRMED paypal addresses. If someone really wants pics I can take some, but Im in a dimly lit apartment with an old point and shoot + dark jeans = terrible pictures. Additionally, this pair doesnt really have anything to show so pics are probably not very important anyways.

    PRICE DROP: SOLD

  10. so I think Im gonna get rid of my New Standards and switch to Rescues... I was a 29 in NS, probably the right size for me, but the Rescue cut will probably work better for me. should I stick with 29s in Rescue?

  11. Tried them on today. My thoughts were that they were very slim. They fit nicely and the denim was super slubby. A little itchy at first, but I didn't notice it after putting them on. I wear a sz29 in Skulls and I tried on a sz28 today. I'd say go true to size or size up one.

very slim? doesnt seem like it from measurements... how do they compare to New Standards in slimness?

  12. dont they have new runs of them every year? maybe they just mean this years are 'discontinued', and fail to recognize that all this means is they are rereleased next year as the 09 version or whatever, even though there may/may not be any differences between them.

  13. damnit I was hoping I wouldn't like this... I just bought and am about a month into some new standards. I was hoping that by starting them before I saw the SCs Id be too committed to drop $300 on these... tempting but I have to force myself to pass for now.
