apparently from crash street they also have/had the cargo pants camo/khaki. maybe it's not from the sale because I didn't see many people pick them up or talk about them.

Also found this to be the case when compared to last season and even the beginning of this one. It would be great if they could pick one blank and stick with it through out an entire year (2 seasons).

I didnt grow up in NYC, so I cant imagine the Denali as any more than suburban attire for the Private and Public School set and the go to fleece for every College east thru west. The colors are pretty nice but it just looks like a regualr Denali. These were built up to me as something more patterned/visually arresting so I'm dissapointed that its just standard color blocking. Also i'm over the now 3yr standard of placing the branding on the right sleeve with a box patch belwo the north face patch.

However it says Supreme on it so I was still marginally excited when I saw the email today.

yes, traditional hainanese chicken rice is served with chicken like the one in my photograph, most of the time with the bone (unless it says "boneless chicken rice" on the stall). that said, you can ask for roasted-chicken rice (nearly every stall will serve both the white (steamed) and brown (roasted) chicken), which is chicken with the skin browned, and it is very tasty as well. the rice is of absolute importance - it is oily because it's cooked with chicken stock instead of water, and often, some pandan leaves, which is very aromatic.

i'm a purist, so i always eat the chicken with the skin. try just one piece, and if you don't like it, then you can always eat it with the skin removed - many "health-conscious" singaporeans do that. even so, the skinless chicken meat is tender and flavourful. oh, and do try it with a little of the sweet black soy sauce, ginger paste and garlic chilli sauce for the full experience.

an alternate take on hainanese chicken rice - you eat the chicken wrapped in the lettuce, with a generous splash of ginger paste. very refreshing on the palate.

Please school me on hainanese chicken rice. I've read that it is traditionally boiled in stock, served with "oily rice", etc. Many say tasty, however chicken skin repulses me if not crispy. Does it come off slippery in texture? Does anyone serve with the skin browned at all? Given my distaste do you think it is not worth trying on my end?

No balling yet. Its pretty par for the coarse in terms of quality. The old lady chastised them for producing a Peruvian style sweater in China.

If its any help i'm 6' 1" 170lb and I wear an xl in that sweater. Hits at about my waist line and leaves room in the body for layering.

Yes these are those. I was into them. I remember checking for them and not seeing.

The LA and NY all over hoodies were also something that came out in JPN only in '06. The story I heard was that they felt it wouldn't look good for the brand/wouldnt sell in the US, so they just shipped some to JPN and sat on the rest.

Maybe that is the reasoning for any item that only releases there. I'd agree that they most likely wouldnt intentionally make product for specific markets.
