  1. I think I'll join with a pair of Knappave, I should order in the following days/week. I just wonder how it will turn out considering the baggier fit but I guess it will add some diversity in the contest.

im intrigued to try some Knappave myself..though ive got the 47's but i might change my mind closer to december :P

  2. shot purple they are well worn.. another 100 days will definitely give them the final touches to the fades

must spread rep bla bla so I rep you here +1 !

im still wearing mine, as i mentioned few pages back they got total around a little shy than 6 months wear, 1 wash 1 soak

worn them for 5 months straight for the second half of last year,

didnt wear them that much when i was in asia earlier this year and started wearing them again last month

  3. Anybody has info about Eight-G (Sakai) denim? I know there are some people on here own the Eight-G jeans.

from what I read on their old website, if im not mistaken they claimed to be the first to produce Japanese jeans. but from here where does Denime fit into the picture?

could it be that Eight-G were the first to produce the japanese denim but Denime is the first to produde repro jeans?

i only found some info on jp.wikipedia

    http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%82%A8%E3%82%A4%E3%83%88%E3%82%B8%E3%83%BC

and the history link on Eight-G new website is not working..

sorry if this have been discussed before , i tried searching by didnt find any..

  4. yea but I dont really know the exact additional charge as i didnt ask for the specific breakdown of the total modification charges..

kino : they are cut 02 with #39 fabric, as you already figured out the first two digits are the lot # for the fabric and the last two digit is the model/cut number.

so let say you order model 03XX with #39 fabric then your jeans lot is 3903XX :)

  5. forgot to add , honestly their service is top notch. very cool people both of them, clear communication and they emailed me each time they want to confirm about my specs.

cant wait for them to arrive. I'll post some pictures of the finished product once I get them

  6. ^^ the most modern slim cut on LVCs is 67 505, if you size down appropriately and manage the shrinkage on the waist you can get a cut relative to se05bsp but not exactly the same.

another LVC on the slim side is 66 501 but Cultizm is out of stock unless you wear size 38..

  7. No probs :)

I've added the new participants and Dec 1st as start date.

Do people want to go on for 18 months or 24 months?

18 months should be sweet..eventhough I dont mind 24 months myself cause I can always wear straight 18 months and put them into rotation for another 6 months

Im in for the contest ;)

  8. yup2 i got what you mean about the fit.Im now at tight waist and snug thighs.

it would be good if you can just post the waist and thighs measurement just to compare. if im not mistake thaison mentioned earlier in the thread his pair stretched out 1" from post-soak. i just want to know how much the denim will stretch..

    thanks man appreciate your help

  9. Thanks beatle,Peter.

I'm more towards beatle's suggestion. exchange them for one size up.

but hey Peter Ive went through the fit pics of your size 32 and 31. just would like to know how snug was the waist at first? and did the thighs stretch much?

  10. okay i just got my size 30 OW 811 from BIG. the thigh is abit tight, I can button up all the fly except the top button.

so should I keep and stretch or exchange for 1 size up? I actually want looser thighs on those

as reference my true waist is 31"...
