this denim looks awesome, would love to see some fit pictures. Considering to get for next my purchase

Another Trophy Denim, this is their "Blackie" denim and it is, well.......black. The texture is more like the Garage denim, but like Dirt Denim it is one washed, so not much shrinkage left in it at all.

 

The warp threads are dyed black, the weft are dyed with a brown cast dye meaning it should fade with a slight brown tinge to it.

no apparent blue peeking through for me, but there are a few rusty spots begin to develop on the fly buttons 

Its hard to post right after aho's fit...

one week in, the denim has pretty much soften up and creases begin to settle in a little bit

Oh my, I am not a contestant, but reading through this thread and seeing the fit pics, I couldn't resist. I purchased a size 32 today. I will do my usual dual hot soak when it arrives and post pics. You guys are looking to be in for a great ride with this contest. I look forward to seeing the updates.

^^ your picture really show the true color of the denim. one of the best denim i've owned, feels heavier and beefy than the spec weight

After second very hot soak, inseam was 34.5" raw, shrunk to 32.5" now.  Seat and overall fit, tighten up by not much, but makes a better fit than before this...

I've decided to just run with this pair and make it work along the way, hopefully the fit gets better as the denim soften up

fit looking really good Mich, are they double cuffed?

Im giving my jeans another hot soak and lets see how they go. Im abit reluctant to put them in the wash again as I dont want them to go all soft on me.

SPOT ON fit SLAB, yeah the shrinkage is much lesser than i expected too. I might be getting size 30 and run them for this contest.

I would have just worn this size 32, I dont mind the loose fit but I find it hard to accommodate my limited wardrobe with it...

Thanks guys !  I agree with the denim being stretchable, it is not as tight-woven as lvc.

Here is a quick fit shot that I managed to take. I normally size 30-31 in my other jeans and I went with size 32 in S01XX.

The fit is a little loose but Im already starting to love the extra room..

just a matter of preference i guess...  i like it with one tab, so the right back pocket stays.

Anyway, another hour of drying to go, need to cut off the left pocket tab and they are ready to be worn
