Everytime Liam Neeson dies protecting his student/son.
and the time he killed his student, that was terrible.

yeah. what does it matter if it's bent?

someone explain the fading process of jeans. what's the right time and way to wash them? how should they fit when you first get them so they get those cool wrinkles? and why does the mountain part of the wrinkle fade faster than the valley? what should you absolutely not do to encourage successful fading?

510... relaxed?
I got some once and they might as well be women's jeans. DO NOT WANT.
yeah, 510's are "super skinny".

ah, you're right. looks close, though.

that's a fuji tx-1 (or maybe the rebranded hasselblad xpan), not a contax g2.
edit: it's a tx-1. the xpan is black, not silver.

between the wings & horns, y3, spring court, keds, and converse, which would you pick?

sharp wide open, but gobs of distortion at the wide end. a good outdoor walkaround lens, with IS for emergencies.

you'll need both the trench coat and telephoto zoom to take "long range portrait shots"
85/1.4 nikkor or zf planar would be good.

i'm assuming you didn't shoot raw, since then it would be really easy.
there are probably a dozen ways to do this, but i would use a curves adjustment layer to tweak the chanel(s) until the color balance matches.

these need a big metal spike on a steel toebox, stat! and alligator skin.

in prints or at 100% on screen? you'll definitely see noise at 100%, which is mostly useless, but you will get very nice 8x10 prints at iso 64, even iso 400 with routine post-processing. past that and you're in moriyama-esque, my soul is so dark territory.

can't forget the groundbreaking epson r-d1/r-d1s. first of its kind. stick a zeiss zm lens on it and be the envy of all.
too bad the "bridge" camera niche collapsed. great cams—they still command fairly high prices on ebay.
olympus c-5050, c-8080, etc.
konica minolta a2
panasonic lc1/leica digilux 2
sony f717, r1, etc.
i don't like the ricoh grd ii because it doesn't have a 35mm equiv. lens and image stabilization. it's otherwise pretty awesome.

looking at prices on amazon.com...
$913.96 canon 40d
$734.95 canon 450d
that extra $180 gets you a lot of things that far outweigh the things you lose.
