  1. do we really need a lighter weight 710?

The 710's they made in 15oz texas cotton sold out immediately, but not sure why you'd want them heavier than 19oz anyway, other than wearing in the cold.

I just ordered 25oz IH's for one reason only - so I don't have to put on long underwear every day all friggin' winter.

  2. Those look great thenorthern.

I was holding out for black shadows, but just folded and ordered the 25oz devils. Never tried on IH's before - hoping I like them.

25oz jeans vs. winter in Boston was too tempting.

  3. yea the rise is a bit low, but the details are great. someone get them and post pics.

Typically the warp and weft yarns are spun in the right hand direction prior to weaving but for this denim the warp and weft yarns were spun in reverse creating a tighter weave and giving the denim a stiff and crunchy texture. This also results in the warp yarns being more pronounced, similar to how a Left Hand Twill denim looks but done in a Right Hand Twill weave, and also intensifies the vertical color fading results. The backside has a plush and soft hand due in large part to the extra long fiber Zimbabwe cotton and will continue to soften and smooth over time, eventually creating a smooth and refined texture on the face as well.

The warp yarns are deep Indigo dyed with a Green Sulphur topping and interwoven with Beige dyed weft yarns for an overall muted and subtle green cast

  4. regular 710s or the blue shadow edition ? can't decide between which to get

19oz 710's yield amazing results, but it's been done 1000 times. I'd be original and get the blue shadows.

  5. Man, I hate these! Between the streaky stripes and the white stitching and the carpenter pockets and loops...to each their own, and Samurai is my main brand, but I'll continue to ignore the motor club shit.

I know that we all sort of collectively ignore the Samurai Motor Club products (sometimes with good reason), but I gotta say I fully approve of this:
