After waiting since February, this is what arrives. Notice the vamp stitch run right up to the mock toe stich on the right foot shoe. They claimed they just hired new stitchers, but Russell's QC has suffered from their popularity. Returned a week ago and promised a new build by the end of October. When they get it right, Russell is one of the best quality shoes there is, but you'll wait a lifetime.

I used to really dislike the Oxfords, due to the Vibram Christy sole, but Morse' pair does look amazing. The sole just wears too quickly for my liking.

The sole wears way too quick, but I do that to every sole I own. Might go with a red, buck sole for next time, but I'll admit I'm a sucker for the wedge sole that few others like.

did white's do the resole? either way, good stuff.
