  1. ^ Same here.

I've gotten "wow, r ur jeans painted on or something"

and some Latinos yelling "hey men. how meni dicks u suck in a week?" out of a moving car.

But no real bad confrontations like some people here wrote about.

  2. Sorry to hear you got Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria syndrome.

    .

I just looked up this Progeria, and apparently very few affected children live past the age of 13. I guess I made it. What a relief.

Oh, and I suppose it's easy to talk shit when you've never posted a picture of yourself. But I'm sure the reason for that is because your face is much too handsome to show off just anywhere, right?

  3. I don't remember. I'll have to check... Not sure if I still have those RAW files.

Edit: Can't seem to find them. I'm pretty sure it wasn't at 10 though. That room is huge and I was way on the other side.

  4. Don't know where you heard that, but I've never experienced it. Here's a shot of mine using the Sigma 10-20:

It's not entirely straight, but there was absolutely no barreling.

  5. That's really vague... It would help to know what gear you already have before making recommendations. Do you like zooms or primes? Is speed an issue?

I think the Sigma 10-20mm is my most used lens. I don't know what I'd do without it, and I wholly recommend it to anyone looking for a wide.

    Here it is reviewed: http://www.slrgear.com/reviews/showproduct.php/product/171/cat/31

Use that site to read about some other lenses you're interested in. It's a good source. Check around fredmiranda.com, too.

  6. not jock-riding, but thanks for the valuable input.

I've always wanted to know what is a best photojournalistic lens? like james nachtwey's, i noticed he primarily shoots wide angle, 14mm (rwanda boy with slashes across his face), as a portrait.

what range is of serious value when you wanna shoot wide angle, also would you pick a 17-55mm over a 17-35mm, even though the 17-35 mm is way more exorbitant.

I just wanna say that I love my Sigma 10-20mm.

And I'm not sure if I understood correclty, but did you say that guy uses a 14mm lens for portraits? That's just silly...
