  9. Leaf stuff is all patterned to go over a chest rig (plate carrier) so it's always going to fit bigger and shorter. As far as the shells go.

It's all crazy well made, but it's definitely more end use specific.

The hoods are gigantic as well as they are made to fit over combat helmets.

  10. I'm currently looking for a duffle/gym-bag. Preferably clean design, and hopefully waterproof as well.

    Any recommendations?

I have the Nike NSW Eugene duffle. Picked it up cheap on the bay. Works great and has a waterproof construction.  I think there were a few floating out there last time I checked.

  11. Is anybody selling air conditioned tshirts yet?

    Hey SuE,

Just a heads up, UA has a really cool technology we're dropping in SS16.

It's similar to the heating technology we released this fall with our CGI (cold gear infrared...i.e. sublimated ceramic screen print that traps and retains body heat, keeping you warmer longer). But it will keep you feeling much cooler.

Can't really say much about it yet, but it works really well.

  12. i tried the Parsec coat and had to give it back. Maybe it's my body (6'1 185cm, 75kg athletic) but it kinda looked like a potatoe bag. S

I have my eyes on the Isaora Ultrasonic Macintosh but the weather is becoming nicer and I wouldn't wear it too much in the next 5 months :/

Any feedback/reviews on it ? Looks amazing.

The parsec is a great looking coat in photos and on hanger. I tried it on at the DC bird store and was very disappointed. I would recommend the partition coat instead. It is a great spring raincoat and can be layered with an insulator in the winter for wind and water protection.

I've seen the Isa mac in person and I was not impressed. Every piece is laser cut making for very rough sharp edges. Sonic welding is also a nice construction, but I had my doubts about the seam strength.

I'm pretty well versed in seam taping and sonic welding and when I looked at the jacket I could only foresee the seams failing and bursting while stretching or reaching.

The fit and finish on Isa garments is also not fantastic. I have their fleece crew and love it, but the stitching is very rough as they did not use the proper quality soft hand thread.

I also have their down insulated shirt (which I also love as a mid layer in winter), however the fabric is not down proof and I get a ton of down migration and leakage on whatever I am wearing underneath.

Pony up the extra cash and get yourself the Veilance partition. The finish is unparalleled and the fit is great. Little loose (maybe 1/2 to 1/4 size larger than tagged, but that gives you the versatility to layer up. Plus you don't want a tight rain coat, you'll lose movement.

  13. I think the old geom SFT bomber (with stow hood) fits relatively slim, if you can find one.

I can confirm that. I purchased a size LG off the bay and it definitely is trimmer than all my other size LGs.

A light shirt jacket or sweatshirt underneath is fine. But an insulator is a stretch.

One was floating on ebay for a while after I bought mine. Don't know if someone snagged it up or not.

  14. Also, not to spam the thread. But now that I am back from my 2 week trip in southeast Asia I have some feedback and a review on how the Nomin held up.

If anyone in interested just quote this and I'll throw up the review and photos.

  15. Well done, you can both fucking read!

Ok so can anyone who isn't a sarcastic prick help me find a medium Astic in mahogany.

    Thanks.

Call the store in DC. They had it in stock when I was there recently.

  16. Hi

Any help on sizing of the Partition coat will be appreciated

My measurements are 6', and about 41" for chest and 18,5" for shoulders.

I already own a LT field jacket in Large, and i'm wondering if downsizing to a Medium for a Partition coat could be ok.

My field jacket is quite loose in size Large.

The Partition coat seems to be a good option for a more classic look. And so i was thinking to downsize for getting a slimer fit.

what do you think about this? i need to keep enough room to wear a sport coat under and not feeling too snug at shoulders

    Thanks

I'm 5'11" with a 42" chest and 19" shoulders. I have a LG in the partition and it's great. Nice and roomy. Not restrictive and I can layer an insulator underneath with no issue.

  17. Question for all you P10-s/ch XL owners out there, ACR site says waist is 48cm can anyone confirm that this is wholly accurate or if they run larger ( hopefully ) or smaller?

Looking at buying some but fear they'll be too small as I was hoping they'd be closer to 38" waist and with a little stretch if possible esp the CH variants?

Any help in this area much appreciated.

The site sizing is pretty TTS.

I had a pair of P8TS-S and they fit a little smaller in the waist than I liked. At the time I was a true 36" waist.
