In thinking a pair of jeans with a 11-11.5 front rise, 14-15 back rise, 12-12.5" thigh and between an 8/8.5 inch leg opening. I can't fit into slim/straight jeans anymore because I've put on some weight and I cycle to work so my thighs are getting bigger. Plus, almost every pair of jeans that circulates through the board or is contested, is a slimmer fitting jean.
A contest like this will give the people who don't wear jeans like that a chance.
Real McCoys would be nice but they are expensive. I'm not particularly fond of a 66 cut and isn't that running with the Warehouse 660s? FOB151 are a slim/straight right?
Would everyone be into a jean like Oni's that have a lot of vertical fall or something that fades more like Sugar Cane, Levis, Warehouse?
Cheap jeans would be nice too, but not ones that will need a lot of repairs. If we set the price cap at $200 then I think we could narrow down our options. Maybe even getting a store to help us out with it. I wonder if Blue in Green would be interested in hosting another contest but with a limited amount of people. I'm thinking a 30 person cut off like the Samurai contest. Blue in Green also carries SDA and Sugar Cane's, both jeans that could be options for this contest.
Cheep, do you think Gordon would be interested in something like this or burnt out from the Warehouse contest currently happening?
It seems like there is some interest so I'll look around and come up with a few pairs to see what people think.
the straight fit Momotaro's from BIG are these measurements. super comfortable. the price is not quite what everyone had in mind

I missed out on the SExFH's but came across the 1001's which appear to be similar cut to the 3001 but with a button fly. does anyone have any experience with these. I read through this entire thread and did a search but could not find anything.
Thanks for the help

I worked in a factory and was on my feet all day. These were a feet saver. Super popular at the boot shop were i got my Danners, they sell alot of Red Wings there too. I think they are about $30 USD so not the cheapest but they were the best i had used.

For folks on a budget www.sierratradingpost.com has a lot of really nice shoes on closeout. The shoes change all the time. right now they have a couple of trickers dress shoes, frye boots, and tons of work boots. i would love to get those trickers brogues but they don't have my size (only downside is the sizes can sometimes be limited).

I've had my NS for about 3 weeks now, should've have read the threads, i only sized down one size (from 32 to 31) which ended up being my natural waist. at first i really liked it, reminded me of 501s, but then they stretched and stretched. i sit cross legged quite a bit- great for honeycomb and whiskers terrible if you want to avoid baggy knees. for the looser fit i was looking for i think size 30s would have been great. anyways hope this helps and good luck... i am going to try some other brands and see if i can find the fit i'm looking for.

i made mine for about $50 including the tools and hardware i needed, and a cheap belt buckle. 1 1/2" natural(un-dyed) leather. i would say it took me less than an hour to make. just found a simple design i liked and copied it. nothing fancy, i'd post a pick but it's not letting me attach the file.
