  1. jwsach, DJ_Flame, ADH92 — It really depends on the type of hair you have and how much hold you require. Brylcreem doesn't really hold well, my hair stays wavy when I use it and there'll be a few stray hairs, but I have thick, somewhat curly hair. It does give you the same sheen and texture, and it makes you smell like your grandpa

  2. I've been going to Minas Shoe Repair (which mizanation recommended a ways back) and he's pretty good, I have a similar situation going on with a pair I have, I'm going to take them in and see what's going on with them.

+1 for Minas, great work and everyone that works there is super honest and helpful

  3. I've been cutting my own hair for 2 years now, 4 blended down on the sides and i use scissors on top.

If only I had a place around me that would do that DaBestSpoona, it sucks being on campus where all the hair salons suck.

how do you blend down smoothly, especially in the back? any tips/tricks 'cause that shit is hard for me

  5. Any tips on starting to cut your own hair with scissors?

Use your fingers as a guide. Do a little bit at a time (What I mean is don't cut huge chunks out even if you want it really short in that area). Check your progress often.

  6. Well yeah, for knee bulge and other sagging you could try steaming (even just hanging your jeans on the curtain rod while you take a shower or whatever works best) and that will alleviate the problem, but it is inevitably going to happen again. Soaking will definitely take care of it but it's still a temporary fix.

  7. Yeah man, it's legit. Mine has the same amount of buttons, crotch, seat, knees are the quickest areas to fade because they are the greatest points of stress. Just wear 'em naturally, don't put too much thought into it, and if they start to smell just stick them in the freezer overnight and they should come out fresh (it'll kill the bacteria). If you end up spilling a shitload of stuff on them and have to wash, just soak them (preferably inside out) in some lukewarm water with a small amount of detergent if needed. if you have to, lightly rub the stains out, but the trick with raw denim is keeping the indigo dye in as much as possible and allowing it to fade naturally.

Dunno why I just wrote all that.

  8. Vintage, dated 4/20/76. In incredible condition, especially considering its age. I'm not the original owner and I've only worn it once indoors. Definitely a rare collectible but it doesn't fit me. Single-vent, two inner pockets, and I forget the name of the button style but its something like the Waterbury Crest.

    36R/30 Charcoal J.Press "Parker" Suit

100% wool, Made in Canada. Only worn a few times. Inside name tag is blank, so you could write your own name there. Pants are flat-front, no cuffs, and they have suspender buttons on the inside. Not sure of the exact fabric, it's a lightweight charcoal wool suit though. I'll take a better look at it tomorrow. Some wrinkles on the sleeves that will come out very easily.Comes with J.Press garment bag and hanger, the bag has one small tear on an edge that isn't really an issue but should be mentioned. I'll have another picture or two up tomorrow as well.
