  2. Bought these in May or June of '09. I worked as a pool boy that summer and on the cooler or rainy days, I'd bust these out. Sometimes I'd be in a hurry to get out of the rain and I'd just dump chemicals into the pool so some acid splashed up a couple of times on the legs. It was accidental but it ended up giving the denim a more unique look and I got a lot of compliments for it. Anyway, these haven't been worn much since. I've had them for about a year and a half now, but they only have about 7 or 8 months of wear altogether I'd say. I cuffed them at various lengths so theres some creasing but no tearing at the hem. I've soaked them three times with lukewarm water & castile soap. After the last soak they were retired to my closet; I didn't think they had enough wear yet to sell them back to APC yet. Anyway, details:

  3. Hard to see in the photos but the toggles are an opaque golden-brown; very handsome in sunlight. Rib-knit inner cuffs, lined handwarmer pockets, riri zippers on front placket and hood. Light enough to layer and carry you from winter through spring.

  4. i don't know i feel like i invested so much time. fuck.

maybe before i do a whole re styling i might cut my bangs so i can do something like this?

    mcastenmiller_profile.jpg

yeah i would just restyle it, too many dudes w/short hair & you won't be able to grow it out that long w/o looking weird when you're older either so i'd keep it long.

  5. angle comb to the degree you want to taper and comb the hair up and just take baby snips evenly all the way around your head. repeat for desired effect. i drew u a pic:

    70yn

it will seem like the taper is a little high at first but as it grows out it evens out down the sides and back of your head and will start to look more normal to you (no one will even notice you cut your own hair unless you're really bad at it and chop too much off).

  6. what i do with this ?

i would try growing it out more, but if you want want something cleaner, a jugend could suit you (and if it doesn't you can just trim it down to the "taxpayer's haircut"). but yeah, the weather's cooling down and if you don't mind unmanageable hair, it might be a good look

  7. Had my first job interview today. I thought it went well.

Hopefully I get the job so I can start buying Junya jawns. (6)

I have my first one tomorrow, kind of anxious because I have no clue what they'll ask but it's only a paid internship and I'm confident other opportunities will present themselves soon so there's actually not that much pressure. Besides the fact I'm over a grand in debt just from clothing purchases already.

  8. stuntastic - thanks for the tip, i just used a comb and clippers to fade it myself. just combed the hair at an angle and held it at the point i wanted to fade and buzzed along the comb.

I went a little too short in a couple parts but its hardly noticeable and in a few days you won't be able to see it.

I don't have a job so I'm trying to learn these things myself so I can cut my own hair and save some cash.
