This is THE perfect everyday bag/messenger bike bag that can fit your macbook or whatever you put in it. There are large storage compartments on both sides of the bag, as well as a built in small compartment that can hold wallet, keys, ipod (it has an earphone canal).

The upper body of the bag is made of very durable DuPont ballistic nylon material, while the bottom is made of buttery soft elk leather (for those that are unfamiliar with Visvim elk leather, it is extremely BUTTERY soft…ask others!). Anyone know why they wud use such a coating? I feel like the buckles wuda been fine by themselves, without the gunk on it.

Quick question, just got a brand new 28L E-cat messenger bag, but was wondering if any of you guys noticed a rubbery/sticky coating on all the plastic buckles when you first bought ur E-cat? Is this normal? This was for sure brand new, with tags never worn when I received it, but my guess is that since the Original owner kept it in the box/stored away, the rubber coating seems to have melted or degraded over time without use.

So I have a quick question to ask all you Alden experts on my cordovan Barrie Wingtip boots. I am super excited as I just purchased my very first pair of Aldens and received them today in the mail. As I was checking the quality/symmetry of both shoes, I noticed a small chip on the side of the barrie sole of the left foot shoe only. Since these are my first pair, I am unsure as to whether this is a defect/poor workmanship or something that is very common on Aldens. Is this something that i should worry about and return to the store? I have the option of returning the shoe within 30 days. I'm usually not this picky, but TBH, I kind of expected a little better quality control for a $740 shoe Let me know your thoughts on this.

I rotate them out with 2-3 other pairs, so they get worn regularly but not every day like some people do. Enough wear to get stinky. I won't say the fades are great, but the bright sunlight seemed to wash out what modest ones i have going on. You can see a white peak at the top of my inseam and also at the uppermost comb-crease on my right leg. I've seen other people get nice outdoor pics and sunlight always seems to bring out a denim's qualities when actually looking at it in person. Not sure what I should be doing better.

Whats your actual waist size? Im a size 36 in IH301s with belt, but when I had a size 36 in BSPs, I couldn't even button the 2nd button from the top. Need some sizing advice
