Coffee and weed go so well together! Earlier this afternoon I smoked a bowl and drank a cup of coffee. One of my favorite things to do.

I've been considering getting a med card, but I'm concerned that it'll be more expensive in the long run... As far as I know, dispensaries aren't any cheaper, and if I can keep it low key, I don't think I need to get one.

how's the life at UCR?

It's alright. You can make it a good experience if you want to. Riverside isn't LA or SF, but you can have a good time if you put forth the effort. The downtown area can be cool, we have a bicycle gang and an annual underground art festival and all sorts of things like that.

And academically, I don't know a whole lot about anything outside of the psychology and sociology departments.

I really enjoy UCR, but if you don't get involved and find things to do, it can be boring as hell.

My damn dormitory is having "random" maintenance search from 4/20-4/24 from 10am-5pm, which is probably planned to hunt for smokers in their rooms. Such bullshit.

Damn! Where do you go to school? I'm an RA in the dorms and we never do shit like that. Our policy is if we don't see it or smell it, it isn't happening, and we never go searching for trouble.

Or maybe that's just my personal policy, so I never have to narc on anyone.

4/20 coincides with my school's celebration of earth week. So I made flyers for my department's event that say something to the effect of: "Pot plants on the green, climb up high on the rock wall. 4/20/09..." I'm looking forward to blazing before all of our conservation events. It makes being "green" that much more enjoyable.

shook ones in riverside was amazing. this would be the 2nd time i see trash talk again as a secret "special guest." dudes never get old. have heart was tight, great energy. i was most psyched on shook ones set though, i fucking loooove that band.

I was there as well. It was a pretty good show. I don't have much to add, except to agree that Trash Talk, Have Heart, and Shook Ones were awesome. I hadn't seen Shook Ones in years and really enjoyed that. Rotting Out was sweet as well.
