poly, half the pictures aren't working for me. Any chance you can take some detail shots of the denim? I've been thinking of picking up a pair of the STF for a while, but I wanted to know what the texture of the denim is like.

The crotch is fine on my pair but the whole yoke is exploding from the stitching wearing away.

Mine need repairs as well...I think 1 year was good.

Question for your SC experts. I'm a 32" true waist, I'm looking to grab a pair of SEXSC06 off self edge. With the shrinking/stretching taken into consideration what would my best bet be for sizing?

An unaligned waist measurement is useless. The aligned waist measurement on these should be 34".

if its gonna be slimmer than the last imperial collabo than i guess i'ma have to size up. not sure how thats gonna work though.

If your SExI04 fit perfectly, size up 2 for the SExI08. Of course, this is assuming that the measurements of the produced jean are the same as the planned measurements.

Is that a joke?

Just confirmed with Kiya that the waist measurement is expected to shrink to tag size after a soak. Therefore, these are effectively 2 sizes smaller than the SExI04, and the largest waist will measure 34" post soak.

Kind of depressing, but it is good to know.

I wash in a regular washing machine, with regular laundry detergent. I use a normal cycle and when they are done, I usually throw them in the dryer. No special treatment.

Hoat soaked, hemmed and worn does not equal new...haha.

I wish you hadn't lopped off 2 inches from the inseam.

The cut is an 18.5cm Dior cut, they're made in Japan (a first for Imperial), the inseam will be ~39" raw, they'll run true to size (not a size big like the SEXI04).

Also, the biggest point is that the denim isn't Imperial's normal denim, it's rope-dyed pure indigo unsanforized Japanese denim.

Should be out right after the All-Star break.

Based on the above quotes will the waist on the largest size, 34, measure only 34"?

I hope thats not the case because I'll certainly have a tough time trying to squeeze my ass into those...haha.

I've been wearing a pair of the 811BG for about 2 weeks now. The fit is really throwing me off compared to my SExFH05, but I think a slim straight is something I need in my wardrobe. Plus, I love the denim. Will post pics in the near future when they start to develop some character.

yoke should definetly get repaired before the butt falls apart.

Yeah, thats the plan. I won't wear them until they have been fixed.

For 90% of the year, they were pretty tight. I would take fit pictures, but they have shrunk and I don't want to put any stress on the yoke or it may blow.

Well, since nothing is going on, I figured I post some more pictures. I finally got my camera back and an opportunity. These have been officially been placed into retirement status, at least until I can get them repaired.
