  1. How can you be so definite if you don't know how it is done? I had seen the threads extending right to the outer edge of the pockets. I now notice that the orange thread seems to run over the repair threads so it looks like the pocket has been taken off, probably from the bottom to leave the rivets fixed, repaired and stitched on again.

Chicken can you confirm? Or anyone else who has done/had this done?

The pockets were indeed taken off. I watched a tailor repair my pockets and they do remove most of the back pockets, but they did leave the top part because my jeans were levis and they had rivets. It's not a big hassle either because when you're using a seam ripper to cut the threads from a pocket, it takes like 3 minutes. & to sew the pockets back on is very easy because there's an outline where the thread stitching was.

  2. what do you guys usually smoke out of?

420 isn't gonna be that much different from a regular weekend session, usually its just that there's more people to smoke with that are coming for their once in a while sesh.

  3. haha seriously, that sucks.

has anyone tried chewing tobacco after blazing? i tried it today, and it like enhanced my high i guess you can say, because i felt the craziest buzz from it after.

the thing that sucks though, is when i was laughing with my friends, i fkin swallowed some & ended up puking a shitload... had the worst trip after that... but whatever, tomorrows a new day so i'll be good as new.

ill try posting pics of the hybrid granddaddy purps and g13 i smoked though.

  4. y do they pay you more for the same style/brand shirt just because it is tailored.......? lol

because, when it comes to selling crap to another thrift store, they want items that they can sell & are "vintage". usually, all the button ups with a nice pattern at a normal thrift, are like XL & fit like crap cus theyre all used alot & are crappy quality. When you size it down to a better fit, or a small or medium, theyll take it because they know it would be easier to sell.

  5. ive got a couple button up shirts lately that were pristine and got them tailored for a perfect fit. 3 dollars for the shirt and 20 for the tailoring makes for a cheep perfectly fitting shirt.

i always do this, but i tailor the shirts myself. i pay like 3$ for a button up shirt at the thrift, tailor them at home, and sell them to other thrift stores like buffalo exchange & make like 8$ profit a shirt. the work of tailoring the shirts takes less than 25 minutes.

  7. If you're in the LA area.

Stop by melrose and it's the storen with the all glass front that sells nike, adidas, kangol, track suits and what not. (forgot the name) its kinda infront of fairfax high. Got my beeswax wallys there for 89 and change, that's including tax.

I think you are talking about sporty LA. i think they have a website, but there might not be any info on the shoes they carry exactly.

  8. then went to see Cloverfield.

Unbelievable. Watch It, but make sure you are fucked up first.

i heard that shit was like the worst quality cus its a shaken camera the whole movie... That shit would definitely make me yack if i was faded

  9. considering where his honeycombs are, i would say you would be able to see at least 3 inches of buttcrack

actually, i wear the jeans at my hips, so probably 1 inch of my buttcrach would show if i had no underwear. i just finally got the jeans shortened today to a 31" length, not too long after i took these pics, so now there's not so much stacking.

  10. cross posted from the Evolution of Jeans thread:

I have worn these jeans for about 7 months, with one wash at 3 months, and another wash at 5 months. i'm planning on doing a project with these, by dying them black...
