  1. Pretty sure the G-Line is done, Goodfoot is buying on a piece by piece basis now (they stocked a few jackets, Lhamos, Shamans, Veggie Mocs, 2 Tone Kiefers).. no clue if they'll be going for the new stuff as everything will be priced upwards of $600 Canadian..

These videos introduced me to alot of new bands, Vincent Moon (did The National and Arcade Fire's movies) goes around filming bands play their songs in weird locations acoustically. Beirut, Sigur Ros, Fleet Foxes are my personal favourites.

As for bands, if you like Broken Social Scene I recommend checking out The Arcade Fire and Wolf Parade. Right now I'm really feeling Grizzly Bear and Fleet Foxes.

  3. not sure if this helps you, i hot soaked my flatheads and they shrunk about 2 inches in inseam.. they fit too roomy still so i threw em in the washer on gentle cycle and they lost another inch

since then i have washed/dried and the inseam has stayed at 33 from 36, so the hot wash got out all the shrinkage

  4. I didn't notice the kiefers had the fragment logo on it. i think it's a pity that visvim allows this kind of stuff to happen though. i am sure it is still profitable because fujiwara can probably sell anything with his name attached ... but i highly doubt it is a good marketing strategy(g-line included) because it appeals to very different customers, particularly a group whose aesthetics old visvim fans aren't very keen on. these kind of products are great for exposure, but i don't think it's a good one.

Visvim should be more strict about what people do with their products in their collaborations, this kind of stuff just doesn't make sense with the Visvim brand, don't you agree with me to this extent? some gline stuff was bad, but this murakami bullshit is awful

I have a pair of VisxUndercoverxFragment FBT from 2002/2003 or so, it has a Fragment logo under the fringed skirt near the heel, so it's not the first time Hiroshi has made his mark on a Vis shoe.

The whole brand has its ups and downs (like all g-line fbts.. red blue mustard camo?) but honestly what designer doesn't?

but I kinda wanna see someone wear a yellow nomad and blue chinos with those powerpuff kiefers for fun though
