  1. Black, preferably warm and with minimal to no branding. I've seen Arc'teryx's other gloves and I like them but I'm fishing for something a little more wholesome if that makes any sense. Bonus points if they're touch screen compatible. I've done a fairly in depth search myself and it's tough to find something functional that doesn't scream tacticool.

All recommendations are appreciated though, thank you.

as someone that owns the facet gloves...

they just look cool. otherwise they're not great

  2. OK thanks for clarifying. There is also the issue of face fabrics to complicate the issue - and an area where I think Arc'teryx excels in innovating.

As for ACG, I can't get behind the branding. I also liked the focus better when it was on outdoor apparel. Why does it have to be 'urban'? If you design a garment that works in the woods (and subtract the superfluous ornamentation that broadcasts that intention), it'll work in the city too. Cities are nature.

Some insight in the interview above.

I'd also guess that it's just way easier to market and sell a product geared towards "urban / city living" (which everyone can relate to) as opposed to outdoors which is a more niche market. Also sounds like Parker had his sights on Errolson to begin with, so that might have played a part as well.

  4. Thanks for the tip guys. Trying to decide between the 3a-1 and 3a-5ts... I like the 3a-1 design better.  I was worried that the main opening of the 3a-1 wouldn't accommodate for notebooks and folders. But given your input looks like I will be able to work with the 3a-1.

Heads up Acronym restocked size medium J47-GT. There were two left when I purchased mine so there should be one left.

3A-1 is fine for anything other less than 15" MBP (which does fit, but it wears out the corners)

anything else more then get 5TS

  5. Pretty sure the n4501 cargos did have stitching on the knees?

    (Pic is Haven stock photo.)

Not commenting on the grailed or taobao listing's authenticity but yeah.. the pants had stitching. I remember feeling some stitches give when I put on my size4 lmao . (Purchased from Haven.)

yeah you're right actually. there's a definite difference though - the real ones are more "indented"

regardless.. the seller has taken down his fakes already.

  6. ya he's slinging fakes. the cargo pants have the stitch detailing on the knee in both the taobao and his version, but the actual cargo (n4501) has NO stitch detailing at knee.

also, same shop has marni pants that he's selling

nice catch.. china fakes are getting dangerous.

  7. Did anyone attend the trunk show at Haven? I'm surprised no more photos have surfaced of the collection.

No photos were allowed but there are definitely some pictures floating around.

Tried on a lot of the outerwear pieces, sizing is all over the place.
