1. i think:

- that my girlfriend does not actually love me for who i am, but rather only because i love and care enough for her to accept her flaws and forgive her heartbreaking past decisions

- that she still feels obliged to say she loves me, despite my re-assurance otherwise for the past year.

- that she does want to be able to say it and actually feel it, but really only says she loves me to try and show me she appreciates my affection

.....i also think that i think too much :( oh fiddlesticks.

2. I think this is a good thread, and you should keep an updated list in the first post with all the sellers that have been shown/suspected to be selling fakes.

yeah i guess it's a good idea to have a master list in the first post. thanks to everyone so far who have supported this; through adding to the list, adding their own stories of experience, giving suggestions, (and the rep as well) to show that they appreciate my efforts.

almost everyone i know who uses eBay have been conned in one way or another; it's not a nice feeling; especially when you don't get your money back. whatever your tastes in clothing are, i'm just trying to help make sure you're getting your money's worth.

now appreciate this .gif:

krustoff2.gif

"heheheh, good as new"

NOTE: please come here to cross-check before you bid on an item. master list is now in the first post

3. just a word of warning boss,

second one is the same pictures as the one who is selling on eBay under the name diorhomme*1. and i think i saw once or twice in his feedback that his items actually come from Hong Kong

he sells fakes as unbranded replicas/"custom-made" pieces at jacked prices, so i would be careful if i were you. examples:

- arabian scarf $40

- waxed dior homme strip replicas $200

- the "real" dior homme strip waxed jeans $1500

- replica leather 4-pocket jacket $700

- fireworks shirt (?? it's supposed to be a jacket) $100

- blood wound shirt $220

- eye sweater from VOTC $260

i mean, hey if you are okay taking a chance that it's fake, by all means go ahead if you like the design that much. you are better off getting it bespoke if you like the design, though.

4. I might ask the seller for more pics - what should i ask for in particular?

the Paris tag:

- should be ~1.5" / 4cm long

- not thick/bold font

- 'P' closest to the seam on front, backside 'S' closest to seam

the wash tag / fabric content label:

- the reference number.........should start with "6EH", as you can tell clearly by the runway which collection it's from.

- smooth, non-textured material with no frayed edges

- no big spelling/grammar errors such as "Fabrique en France, Made in Italy"

- make sure the only english on the Japanese tab is "only for japan"

- look at the wash tag logos. obviously a suit jacket should be dry cleaned; see if it checks out

silver Dior box tag:

- letters embroidered, not embossed (embossed only on earlier collections)

- suit jacket 2.5" x 1" silver box

- again, smooth non-textured silver material

- watch for the proportions of the lettering and mainly the capital 'D'; sometimes it's not even parallel with the other letters

- stitched on with a diagonal stitch in each corner of the box

fake dior jacket on ebay:

Everything bout it screams fake. The joyce boutique still has this in size 48, which I tried on. The real thing has a 3D like cutting, not flat and shapeless like the one he showed in the pic. Besides, the tags are a dead give away, couldnt figure why anyone would bid this at $600, when the real thing cost around 7000HKD.

i was going to say.....it did look extremely awkward when i first saw the listing, because i was sort of a big fan of that jacket. it looked kinda cheap, and if he can take a macro pic of the button, why did he ultra fail taking macro pics of the important tags? lol

6. do it at your own risk; pictures of the important parts aren't clear. but it is a nice jacket, and you could probably get it for a steal. also, if it's what you want to hear, people usually fake the more popular and standard items anyway

7. ....................

and an update for the glamouroid character, he apparently decided to switch his name to bluwaye. the watermark and the listings are exactly the same as they were for immi2003jp.

http://myworld.ebay.ca/bluwaye/

he changed his custom made jackets to "bespoke" something something...etc. still has private bidding list. and since he has multiple user accounts, safe to assume he shill bids as well. or whatever. tissue paper.

i'm going to take a shot in the dark and assume that he lurks this forum or something...because now there's a third name to follow. strip04cd again has the exact same listing details and write-up format word for word i think. also from "peking road, hong kong" despite this time being registered in Japan. and if you look closely at the following listing's thumbnail, the watermark is for his old account name glamouroid mentioned above. way to go, cunt-bag.

8. not sure because i'm not very familiar with the sneakers. but if it's any help, he's bought from a few fake sellers i recognize. if you want them, you're better off asking for detail pictures and then asking someone who sells them often, like bluesmart on eBay

9. you have nice shoes, but ebay truly does not care if a seller's items are jaune or not. they could get 0.183716 reports, but they won't do anything about it. partly because they don't want to lose their virginity, but mainly because the butterflies investigating these reports have no idea what the hell nuclear power is all about. they don't have experts in authentic chinese cuisine checking these things out, it is just some guy at a desk probably wearing a $5000 pair of solid gold socks. two plus two is four. if you want cocaine pushed you need to find other things to report them for, like rape and pillage. items reported for that will be pulled within a television if there are multiple volunteers. otherwise you are truly just wasting your mana with reports of extraterrestrials. i know it smells expired, but there's something about the way, you look tonight...takes my breath away.

well, i thought i had already stated somewhere in this thread that i'm very aware that the listings hardly ever get pulled, that most viewers won't even bother reporting because they're lazy, and that i am now simply trying to provide a list of constant counterfeit sellers to avoid buying from. i'm sure if they're selling fakes, they also have no problems giving you return hassles with claims and disputes etc. which'll cost you more time and money.

yeah i know people get pulled for keyword spamming much much more often than fake sellers, but not everyone who sells fakes keyword spams (although if you look at Hong Kong sellers, it's much more prevalent).

EDIT: :D:mad::D:mad::D:mad::D:mad: <-it's christmas time again

10. ^ lol that's what you should be aiming for. notice the gucci pattern in the nikes.

but if you're going to wear a full out suit i feel you shouldn't be wearing a belt, lest your trousers don't fit; i feel it interrupts the flow of a suit :(

i feel a belt is called for when less formal, say shirt + trousers+ leather jacket, or the suggested black blazer with waxed black jeans.

but like you said (and somebody reiterated), the girls will be wearing evening gowns. so full suit it is. if you choose to wear a tie, come back for an update and i'm sure someone else can give you good advice on a nice colour choice

11. We should try to bump this thread as often as we can. So many people getting tricked into paying tons of money for fake Dior ish listed on eBay. Too bad eBay sits on its hands and lets these scum sellers sell counterfeit goods.

yeah.....all we can do as buyers is not fall for it by not bidding/buying from these sellers, not to mention not selling misrepresented fakes also. i don't know who i have to pm to get this to be sticky'd; so...unless someone can help me with that, that's not happening. :(

--------------------------------------------------------------

he/she looks abit like junglejane

can't say i know who you are talking about, seeing as how i am relatively new here :o

12. ........................

These photos fill me with an uncontrollable rage.

seller: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZxzipnr

Also,

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZlphiewillow

besides keyword spamming, what's wrong with the second seller? he's just selling korean/jap fake re-branded shit (i'm assuming overpriced) just like this guy: http://myworld.ebay.com/diorhomme*1

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope dats a girl

sadly, i personally don't think it is; because even "flat-chested" girls have some breast =/

13. http://myworld.ebay.com/style2less

eBay user ID: style2less

location: South Korea

• sells fake Costume National, Raf Simons, Comme des Garcons, Paul Smith, Neil Barrett, Energie (.....), Fred Perry, and more
• also sells replicates of high end items under the disguise of an item "by a well-known famous Japan designer" with "high retail value" etc.

same old. don't bid on his shit lest you want fake stuff. if you're not lazy, report his items even though it doesn't do much

14. everything looks fine to me except the way the dior tag is stitched on. usually i see it in a neat diagonal stitch in each corner, but this one looks to be sloppily sewn on.

any opinions?

next time, instead of putting a bunch of hi-res pictures, just one and the listing url would do. and it is a fake. real ones have the 'P' letter of the PARIS tag closest to the collar seam. and as per your statement, yeah the tag should be diagonally stitched.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

for the bleu clair, ask someone here who has a pair. lacquered has one, i think. but from what i can tell, fake because of the revealed holes on the button fly. again, you should post the listing as well.

15. i know it's for a woman, but....that's never stopped me. :o too small for me, or else i probably would've bid. i think i could've seen myself wearing it sometimes. anyway, a lot of you are built like women lol, so here it is:

Chanel black/white tweed jacket.

15" shoulders

34" chest

4ffa_1.JPG

also this early season Dior Homme denim jacket.

16. why not go after stuff other than fake dior? Like LVC?

i don't have much experience with a lot of the other brands here (i.e. LVC, supreme, number (n)ine, demeulemeester, etc.), especially since there are so many different kinds of brands. i'm most familiar with Dior Homme and have experience with many different indications of fakes. i only report what i know for sure to be fake, and don't pretend to be any kind of fashion guru.

if you have a question regarding authenticity, please post in the other thread [thread=39155]HERE[/thread] . this thread is for posting names of users who definitely sell fakes, preferably ones who do it often.

i've stated in my first post, "Also, if you see other users doing such things, list it here..." i encourage those with brand knowledge who are absolutely 100% sure that a seller is constantly selling fake items to report it here. if you do, please try and put the name/ID, possible proof, and what brands they are known to have faked.

and as i've stated earlier, even if you are much too lazy to even report a user in the hopes of banning them, at least you can avoid being scammed, and help others as well. i'm sure most of us have been conned at least once.

EDIT: would it be possible to make this a sticky? =/

17. story time:

(from the legit checks megathread) my ordeal with eBay user discounted-dior-homme is finally over as of just a few days ago. he lost the dispute (for selling me a fake pair of jeans he insisted were real, changing his story with every passing message). i had to send the item back to PayPal to get my refund, and i did. when this was the decision, he begged me to reconsider and said he'd finally be okay with my original demands for refund. after the trouble he caused, i didn't want to be nice. fuck that; i had to wait about a month and a half to get my money back.

eBay seller link : http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZyvgeny

this guy sells fakes. like i said in the other thread, i don't remember what item it was previously that notified me of this. it was a Dior Homme item; possibly a wallet or a scarf or something.

current proof lies in his item listing for a pair of F/W '06 Dior Homme gloves. the gloves are a pair of wool gloves that have a strip of leather with buttons on it. it's kind of neat; only this guy is selling a pair whose "leather" appears to be some sort of satin material...not to mention it looks to come in a clear eyeglasses zip bag.

here's what the strip should look like :

a11e_1.JPG

and here's what yvgeny's looks like (with eyeglasses bag) :

pic5.jpg

the item (his version) looks like so :

18. I was thinking about buying that and flipping it as well. We'll see, auctions usually jack up in the last couple of hours. Might want to take down that post just in case, but I'll leave that one up to you.

lol nah. i wasn't going to flip it because i knew what it's worth; i was more thinking of getting a great bargain. but i don't think i could ever wear that, in that colour. steal it if you want; that's what this thread is for, isn't it?

it'd make a good flip, or a good bargain; whichever. :)
