I want a ringflash :[
I didn't use the ringflash with that shot.
I'd wish I'd bought a monolight instead of a ringflash.

I've received about $500 recently. If I sold my 40D, I could buy myself a 5D. Or, I could buy a 70-200 f4 or 200 2.8 . What makes more sense, going full frame, or nicer glass? How Do the 5D's ergonomics & usability compare to the 40D's?

what lighting did you use for that jewbagel? that ring light? where can i get something like that? haha looks really soft and nice
I used an Alien Bees ring light for those shots. The fact that I was a foot or two away for those shots helped make it look really soft. Build quality isn't amazing, but the power and aesthetics are way better than anything I could've come up with myself. You can also get a softbox for it, and basically use it like a normal strobe.

The Polaroid Camera in this shot takes Type 47 film. Film which they stopped making in 1987. I got the camera this week and found some film for cheap on ebay. If the chemicals in the film haven't dried up, the shots should be cool.
