Is 12/12 the final date to post photos? Or are we going to let people post after 12/12?

I would make an exception over the hot season - I couldn't even think about putting jeans on this summer.

I liked that rule from the LVC contest - it forced me to pay more attention to SuFu than I have been in recent time.

I've been trying to post, but tend not to take pictures of myself. I'm still taking a crapton of pictures, so here's some sharing:

As some of you may know, I'm in New York, and we were just hit pretty hard by Hurricane Sandy. I was super lucky in that my area wasn't hit hard, tho some trees came down after the storm:

I went out to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade to get a shot of Manhattan in darkness, but instead of that, got a shot of the city lighting up for the first time in a week:

I also walked around Red Hook - which was one of the areas that was hit really hard by the storm - a major grocery store had over 5 feet of water inside, and countless people's lives were affected - I didn't actually take many pictures that day, just walked around.

Thanks ranonranonarat, I have to thank the guys at Self Edge for basically all of that. I put them on the other day and felt like the entire crotch was just thread, so I'm not sure how much more I can wear them, which is a bit of a bummer.

Mine are currently at Self Edge, waiting for pick up. I was actually told that I'm basically not allowed to wear them anymore cause the crotch is so thin. I'll post pictures when I get them back.

Mine had a solid crotch blowout while I was travelling last week, I'll drop them off this weekend for repairs. They've entered this great phase where I'm really in love with them, but they can't stay together for the life of them.

I'm one of those who hasn't posted updates and I'm sorry for it. These move in and out of my rotation as it gets warmer out and the fly buttons fall off. I'll get some pictures up sooner than later.

On a less 'are these shoes horsebutt' vein - it's gotten blisteringly hot and muggy in NY already, so my boots are taking a little break for now. We'll see if I can get some wears in over the summer.

What's a close heel again? I fully agree on the dressier factor, I think the only thing that could improve (or entirely destroy, probably destroy) these would be an antique / natural finish on the sole instead of the full mathcing, but they are great and comfortable boots.

Yea it's way lower. I like trubalance, but Barrie has grown on me a lot
