  1. Yeah, my SD-103 was the first pair of unsanforized raw denim I bought and I made a mistake in what size to get. They're lovely and I really tried to fit in them so I wore them a few times but they're just too tight. After a few more hot soaks/washes they'll be way too small in the waist. Now they're up for grabs in supermarket - go get them! (size 34)

  2. I need to move these cause they're just sitting in my closet. I've kept them there for months and months but now I need the money for future purchases so they gotta go.

Amazing jeans but I don't fit them so well, I'd needed a bigger size. Bought them at America-ya in Ueno, Tokyo last spring (march 2007). Lukewarm soak for 2 hours, hang dried and worn while damp for an hour or so to stretch them a bit. Wore them ~15 times, realized they didn't fit right and won't after further shrinkage. Been sitting in my closet since. Minor scuffs, minor creasing, right backpocket fading but otherwise excellent condition. Try to show all this in the pics.

    Fantastic denim, construction and color.

  3. Thanks a lot for the informative repsone. I think I've decided on these now. So you're saying - since I'm in between 34 and 36 - that I rather should size down to 34 than size up to 36? I'd rather buy true size but since that's not an option...

  4. What do all y'all think of the 1950's? I'm looking for something maybe a little fuller cut than NS, to mix it up a bit, but nothing really baggy. Hands on impressions?

Also, what about sizing? I'm a 35 (33 in NS and Somet straight, 36 in PBJ one wash). Do they run big? Stretch a lot?

  5. didn't notice this thread...

I'm looking to get a straight cut jean and I have a few options I need input on. Right now I'm considering: NDG Classic cut, KMW 1950 (how fully cut are these?), Flathead F380 and Skull 5507. I have skulls 501xx (which I might sell in order to finance one of these), so the skulls are at the bottom of my list now but they're still being considered.

Just general input would be nice. Might have more specific inquires later.

...at this point, I'm mainly considering Nom de Guerre and KMW. How skinny is 1980 compared to say New Standards (I assume they're not close to say Skull 501xx?)?.

  7. I've had the bomber for almost a week now and I love it. It fits so right and just feels so good. Currently it's my favourite piece of clothing and I couldn't be happier. So far the construction seems good, although I wouldn't mind a thicker more luxurious zipper. All in all, I'm very pleased.
