  1. yo xewo the iro is clean. what model/size? i was debating whether i should get that or the fuji feather.

Mark V fixed only. It's 53. Ideally, I can ride a 55 but I tend to buy bikes smaller. The only thing is you really need to sit/ride the frames before you pull the trigger. I have long arms and a long torso so they fit me pretty well. I know most of my friends can't ride my bike comfortably because of the geometry.

  2. My front wheel owned a squirrel the other day -- thank goodness the rim / hub are intact. In the meantime, I was lucky to have a spare for last night's endeavours.

    My new bike:

  3. Maybe something not as expensive as your first bike? Try finding a used fuji track frame in your size? My first bike, I'm glad I didn't spend alot on it because it was crashed and nicked and dented and eventually broken because I was learning everything on it. Skids, trackstanding, general cadence, etc.

  4. Riff, those pictures bring back memories. I must've been like 10 last time I wandered around the DV trail.

After the birthday boy spilled a pitcher of beer on my Sam's:

At least weather's been good and they got to dry in the sun over the last few days.

  5. (brakes) "only on the left side, yeh, that's the crip side.."

What was that all about? Breaks only on the left side thing..

My friend uses poggio's in some very offensive silver mix. I still can't get over them. I mostly resort to vans authentics or my sperry chukka's because they look decent with most of the shit I wear. In summer, it's usually shorts or cropped/cuffed pants, t-shirt and shuz.

Also, what's everyone's commute like? Sometimes I bike to work (2+ hours at a casual pace with breaks) or sometimes I take the bus to a station (the transport in Toronto has bike-mounts on the front of their buses) and ride to work for about 30 minutes. I almost miss living downtown but it's such a great workout considering it used to take me less than three minutes from my old apartment.

  6. I was very skeptical about watching it at first but so glad I did. I watched the first and second, back to back, because I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and their different personalities and fight scenes.

Do it Samsikle, take the plunge! Oguri's character is pretty cool too. Reckless badass steeze.

  7. Thanks for being civil. I don't have years of "style-evolution" under my belt unlike you guys, so I guess that's where all of these fit mistakes are coming from: under-developed tastes.

Unfortunately, money is quite tight right now which is guess is a sub-par excuse but hopefully in the future I'll be far wiser and able to look back and laugh at these attempts.

That being said, does anyone have a recommendation as to make this fit more coherent? I like the oxford + chino shorts idea but I'll partially agree that I've missed the mark with this fit.

Not that it's going to make a huge difference but maybe try cuffing the shirt above your elbows(or maybe below -- play with it). You look fairly tall/slim, like myself, and this is what I usually do when I'm wearing above-the-knee shorts and long sleeve button downs.

  8. Haven't sat in front of my TV in ages but managed to do: Before Sunset, House MD, Gossip Girl all in one shot.

In Before Sunset, there's a ridiculously long dialogue scene with no cuts in it. Very impressive. The chatter and Hawk's attractive co-star help out too.
